FAQ
Part of the Bring Shipping documentation. Previous: Usage. Next: Troubleshooting.
Do I need a Bring agreement? Yes. You need a Bring customer number and a Mybring user with an API key. The add-on books under your own agreement, and Bring invoices you directly.
Which countries can I ship from? Norway, Sweden and Denmark, the sender countries of the default Bring parcel services. Destinations (including Finland) depend on the service and your agreement. A shop with a Finnish Bring agreement can enter the service ids of that agreement on each shipping method. Pickup points are available in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Are the prices the ones I pay Bring? With the financial right on your customer number, the Shipping Guide returns your agreement price; without it, the list price. You can add a mark-up, or use your own prices.
Which label formats are there? The Booking API returns PDF labels. Bring produces ZPL only for the RFID Home mailbox parcel (3570), and the add-on keeps whatever Bring returns.
Can I cancel a booking? The Booking API has no cancel call. The add-on voids the booking in the store; check unused bookings in Mybring.
Is Bring’s own checkout widget used? No. Bring offers a Checkout tool that generates API requests, not an embeddable picker. The add-on shows its own pickup point list, built from the official Pickup Point API.
Does it work with Multi-Vendor? Yes. Use one connection for the marketplace (owner mode), or let each vendor connect their own Mybring user and customer number.
Does it work with the full page cache of CS-Cart 4.21? Yes. Prices and the pickup point picker appear only on the checkout, which the cache does not serve.
Which languages? The add-on ships in English. CS-Cart copies the English texts into your other store languages, where you can translate them.
My license shows “Pending verification”
Section titled “My license shows “Pending verification””This status appears in older add-on versions when you use a CS-Cart Marketplace license number that our license server has not matched with the Marketplace yet. The add-on is fully working in this state: no feature is switched off and you do not need to do anything. Newer versions show it as Active (Marketplace license). We confirm Marketplace numbers on our side; click Check now on the add-on’s License tab (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → the add-on) a little later and it shows Active. If it has not changed after 24 hours, contact support with your Marketplace order number.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Work through the troubleshooting guide, then contact support with your CS-Cart version, edition, PHP version and the add-on version (1.0.0).
