Installation

Requirements

• CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
• PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
• MySQL or MariaDB with InnoDB (the add-on tables use InnoDB).
• A cron job is recommended (re-evaluation of rolling windows, grace periods, manual tier end dates, birthday rewards). Without one, the schedule runs once an hour while administrators use the admin panel.
• Optional: the core Reward points add-on for the points multiplier and birthday points; the Store Credit Wallet add-on (Kavio Labs) for tier cashback and birthday store credit.

Install

1. Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons and click the upload button (+).
2. Upload kv_loyalty_tiers-1.0.0.zip and click Upload & install.
3. Open the add-on (Loyalty Program with VIP Tiers) and enter your license key on the License tab, or the CS-Cart Marketplace license number in the add-on’s license field.
4. Check the settings (see Configuration).
5. Create your tiers in Customers → Loyalty tiers (see Usage), then click Recalculate all customers once so customers with existing orders get their tier.
6. Optional: set up the cron job shown in the settings.

The installation creates the add-on tables, three e-mail templates (Design → E-mail templates: Loyalty tier changed, Loyalty tier grace period, Loyalty birthday reward) and two privileges for administrator user groups: View loyalty tiers and Manage loyalty tiers.

Upgrade

Upload the new version over the installed one (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → +, “Upload & install”). Tiers, members, the history and the settings are kept; the add-on applies new tables, settings and texts automatically on the next admin page.

Disable

Prefer the Enable loyalty tiers setting over disabling the add-on: with the setting off, tiers are not re-evaluated, no tier rewards are given and the My tier page is hidden, but your tier editor, members and history stay available.

When the add-on itself is disabled, CS-Cart does not run any of its code. Customers stay in their tier user groups, so user group prices and promotions keep working; tiers simply stop changing until you enable the add-on again.

Uninstall

Uninstalling deletes the tier definitions, members, history, reward records, settings, texts, e-mail templates and privileges. Export the members (Customers → Loyalty members, CSV) first if you need them.

The tier user groups and the customers’ memberships are kept, because they are CS-Cart data that prices, promotions and visibility settings may use. Delete them in Customers → User groups if you no longer need them. Orders are not changed.
