Settings: Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Google Customer Reviews & Ratings > Settings. On CS-Cart Ultimate with several storefronts, select the storefront at the top first: each storefront has its own values.
General
Section titled “General”- Enable: off switches off the opt-in, the widget and the feed (the feed URL returns 404). Settings and the log are kept.
- Merchant Center ID: the number at the top of Merchant Center. The status line below shows whether it looks valid.
Survey opt-in
Section titled “Survey opt-in”| Setting | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Show the survey opt-in after checkout | on | Google’s dialog on the order confirmation page. |
| Position of the opt-in dialog | Center of the page | Also bottom right/left, top right/left or a tray at the bottom. |
| Opt-in language | empty | Empty = storefront language (en becomes en-US). Or a code such as en-GB, de, fr, pt-BR. |
| Processing days | 1 | Days before an order ships. |
| Delivery days | 5 | Used when the shipping method has no delivery time. |
| Use the delivery time of the shipping method | on | Largest number of the method’s “Delivery time” text; hours and weeks are converted. With several shipments the longest wins. |
| Count business days only | on | Skips weekends and never estimates a Saturday or Sunday. |
| No opt-in for these order statuses | Canceled, Declined, Failed, Incomplete | |
| No opt-in for orders without shipping | on | Downloads and services. |
| Send product GTINs with the opt-in | off | This field was part of Google’s earlier opt-in code and is not in the current documentation. Leave it off unless Google asks for it. |
The estimated delivery date is the order date plus the processing days plus the delivery days. Set the Delivery time of your shipping methods (Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods) to texts like “2-4 days”.
Store widget
Section titled “Store widget”- Show the Google store widget: Google’s widget, which replaced the Google Customer Reviews badge. Google decides which version appears, based on your ratings.
- Position: bottom right or bottom left on desktop; Google centers it on phones.
- Region: optional two-letter country code; empty lets Google decide.
- Margins for desktop and phones, in pixels (Google defaults 36/36 and 16/46). Raise the mobile bottom margin if the widget covers a bottom bar of your theme.
- Hide the widget on checkout pages: on by default.
Product reviews feed
Section titled “Product reviews feed”| Setting | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Publish the product reviews feed | on | |
| Feed URL | The secret URL for Merchant Center. | |
| GTIN source | None | A product feature (for example a text feature “GTIN”) or the product code. Only 8 to 14 digit values are used. |
| GTIN feature | The feature that holds the GTIN. | |
| Brand | Automatic | The first Brand-type feature of the product, a feature of your choice or none. |
| Send the product code as SKU | on | Should match the id in your Google product feed. |
| Reviewer name in the feed | Short | Short (Jane D.), full or anonymous. |
| Include review photos | on | Photos attached in the Product reviews add-on. |
| Minimum review length | 1 | Shorter reviews are left out. |
Only approved reviews with a rating and some text (comment, advantages or disadvantages) of active products are exported. If the Product reviews add-on splits reviews by storefront, each storefront’s feed has its own reviews.
