Installation and setup

  • CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
  • Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
  • A Fakturownia account and its API authorization code: in Fakturownia open Settings > Account settings > Integration and copy the API authorization code. Fakturownia’s API documentation describes no separate sandbox: for the Test account in the add-on use a second (trial) Fakturownia account.
  • A cron job on your server (see step 6).
  1. Download the kv_fakturownia-<version>.zip package from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account.
  2. In the admin panel, open Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
  3. Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
  4. Find Fakturownia Invoicing for CS-Cart in the list and make sure its status is Active.
  5. Enter your license key under Settings > License (Kavio Labs downloads) and click Check now.

If your store has no customer profile field for the NIP, the installation creates one (“NIP / company tax ID”, shown in the profile and at checkout). A field that is already there (for example the tax ID field of our KSeF add-on, or any input field whose name contains NIP, VAT or tax id) is used instead. If you use the checkout layout with manually arranged blocks, add the field to the customer information block.

  1. Open Orders > Fakturownia documents (the add-on page) and the Connection tab.
  2. Choose Test account and enter the account subdomain (mycompany or mycompany.fakturownia.pl) and the API token. Save and click Test connection: a green message means the account answers.
  3. Open the Mapping tab: load the departments and choose the department that issues the documents (leave empty for the account default); set the payment type per payment method and the Fakturownia tax value per CS-Cart tax.
  4. Switch to Live account, enter the live subdomain and token only after a successful test; test again.
  5. Choose the order statuses that start the work (see Configuration).
  6. Add the cron job from the settings page (Cron section), every minute is fine. Overlapping runs are prevented.

By default the marketplace owner connects one account for all vendors (Marketplace owner mode on). Switch it off to let each vendor connect their own Fakturownia account (their own subdomain and token) in the vendor panel (Connection tab).

  1. Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, credentials and data are kept.
  2. The add-on adds missing tables and settings by itself on the first request after the update.

See CHANGELOG for what changed in each version.

Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. This removes the add-on’s settings, language variables and database tables, including the stored credentials, and the NIP field if the add-on created it. Documents already issued stay in Fakturownia.
