Troubleshooting

| Message or symptom | Cause and fix |
|---|---|
| “Paused: BOX NOW refused the credentials” | The client id or secret of the selected environment is wrong, or BOX NOW disabled the account (X403). Correct them and press Test connection; the pause lifts. |
| P440 Ambiguous partner | Your credentials manage several partners: enter the X-PartnerID on the Connection page. |
| P401 Invalid origin | The origin warehouse id is not one of your origins: press Test connection and choose a warehouse from the list, or use any-apm. |
| P402 Invalid destination | The locker id is not valid for your account (for example a Production locker on Stage). Change the locker in the BOX NOW tab. |
| P405 Invalid phone number | The customer phone cannot be made international. Fix it on the order (for example +30 69…). |
| P406 Invalid compartment size | Origin any-apm needs a size: choose one in the request form or in the settings. |
| P408 Invalid amount | Cash on delivery must be above 0 and below 5000 EUR. |
| P410 Order number conflict | Handled by the add-on: it adopts the existing request. If another store uses the same BOX NOW account, set an order number prefix. |
| P411 / P416 | Your account may not use cash on delivery; ask BOX NOW or send the order prepaid. |
| P412 | Your account may not create customer returns; ask BOX NOW. |
| P420 Parcel not ready for cancel | BOX NOW no longer cancels this parcel (delivered, in the locker or returned). |
| “BOX NOW takes euro amounts” | Add the euro to Settings > Currencies. |
| The method is not offered at the checkout | The delivery address is outside the account’s country, the cart is over the weight limit or a box is larger than 60 x 45 x 36 cm, the account is not connected or paused, or the licence is not active. |
| The map does not open | Stage accounts always use the list. On Production check the browser console; a Content-Security-Policy may block widget-cdn.boxnow.<country>. The list is shown as fallback. |
| Tracking never changes | Send the webhook address to BOX NOW and make sure cron runs (it polls as a safety net). |
| “Result unknown” | Press Check with BOX NOW; it never creates a second delivery. |
The Log page shows every call with its answer code (secrets are masked). Turn on “Debug log” in the settings to keep the request and answer bodies for a short test.
