Section titled “[1.0.0] - 2026-10-19”- Search-as-you-type dropdown (WAI-ARIA combobox, keyboard navigation) with products (image, price, old price, stock, optional SKU and vendor), categories, brands, pages and vendor stores; recent and popular searches; popular products when nothing is found.
- Own search index in the store database: field weights, accent folding, hyphen/SKU normalisation, synonyms (equivalent and one-way), stop words, typo tolerance (trigram candidates + edit distance), partial matches, exact SKU boost, popularity boost.
- Index upkeep: build on install for small catalogs, step-wise rebuild with progress in the admin panel, incremental hooks for products, categories, pages, brands and vendors, cron update and full rebuild.
- Results page integration: the same ranking for the standard search results page with “Sort by Relevance”; filters, sortings and pagination kept; typo note and no-results fallback. Option to keep the standard CS-Cart search.
- Cacheable suggestion endpoint: answers cached per query and visibility context (storefront, language, currency, usergroups); public HTTP caching only for the guest context; Server-Timing header.
- Search analytics: top searches, searches without results with “Add synonym”, click-through rate, most clicked results; per storefront and language; no personal data.
- Admin page Products → Instant search: index, analytics, synonyms and stop words, search preview with scores.
- Full page cache safe storefront output, Multi-Vendor (vendor products and stores) and Ultimate (per-storefront settings, categories and pages) support, licence client and self-healing upgrades.
