Creates invoices and credit notes in Lexware Office (formerly lexoffice) from your CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor orders, reads the payment state back and lets customers download their invoice. Built for stores in Germany that hand their bookkeeping to Lexware Office.

What it does

Creates the invoice in Lexware Office when an order reaches the status you choose (for example Paid). The invoice is finalized, so Lexware Office assigns the invoice number and creates the PDF. A switch creates drafts instead.
Companies (and every sale that needs one, such as an export) become customer contacts in Lexware Office; consumers get a one-time address on the invoice unless you prefer contacts.
Chooses the tax type of the invoice: domestic net or gross prices, intra-community supply for EU companies with a VAT ID, export delivery for third countries, distance sales for EU consumers, vat-free for a small business account.
Creates the credit note for a refund or a completed return. Lexware Office allows one credit note per invoice: it is linked to its invoice, never larger than the invoice, and a second credit for the same invoice is logged for you to create in Lexware Office.
Reads the payment state of every invoice (webhook, and every 15 minutes as a fallback), shows it on the order and can move an open order to a status you choose once the invoice is paid.
Gives signed-in customers a download button for their invoice PDF on the order page; XRechnung invoices offer the XML.
Shows every document with its number, status, errors and a link to open it in Lexware Office.
Multi-Vendor: one Lexware Office account for the marketplace owner, or one API key per vendor; vendors only ever see and act on their own orders.

Compatibility

CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor (and the Ultimate editions of both) 4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
PHP 7.4 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
Documents are in euro: the primary currency of the store must be EUR (the Lexware Office API supports EUR only).
A Lexware Office account with Public API access and a cron job for the queue (see Configuration).
