Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3.
- MySQL or MariaDB with InnoDB (standard on every CS-Cart host).
- Working outgoing e-mail (Settings → Emails), because the acknowledgement is sent by e-mail.
- Optional: the core RMA add-on (return requests) and the core PDF documents add-on (PDF confirmation).
Install
Section titled “Install”- Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and choose the add-on archive.
- The add-on is installed and active. The “Withdraw from contract here” strip appears at the bottom of every storefront page at once.
- Open the add-on settings and check the withdrawal period, the delivered statuses and the excluded categories or products (see Configuration). Enter your license key on the License tab.
- Optional: in Settings → Image verification, tick Withdrawal form (order look-up) to protect the guest look-up (Captcha Pro users find the form in its own list).
- Optional: place the Withdrawal button block in your header or footer with Design → Layouts (block type Template, template Withdrawal button).
- Mention the withdrawal function and where to find it in your terms and conditions and pre-contract information. Ask your legal adviser for the exact wording.
Privileges
Section titled “Privileges”The add-on adds two privileges to the Orders section of the user group privileges:
- View withdrawals: the register, the details and the confirmation documents, CSV export;
- Manage withdrawals: status changes, notes, resending the acknowledgement.
Root administrators have both. On Multi-Vendor, vendors see their own withdrawals when Vendors see their withdrawals is on.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new archive in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or use the Upgrade Center when it offers the update). The add-on brings its tables, settings, e-mail templates and texts up to date by itself; the register is kept.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → EU Withdrawal Button & Returns Portal → Uninstall deletes the register, the settings, the e-mail templates and the texts. Export the register as CSV first: it documents statements you received. Return requests created in the RMA add-on stay there. Disabling the add-on keeps the register but removes the withdrawal button from the storefront.
