Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3.
- Recommended: a cron job (every 15 minutes), so price changes of scheduled promotions are recorded on time. Without cron, the add-on records while administrators use the admin panel.
Install
Section titled “Install”- In the admin panel go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and upload
kv_omnibus_price_history-1.0.0.zip. - During the installation the add-on stores the current prices of your catalog as the starting point of the history (a few seconds for a few thousand products; larger catalogs continue with the next runs). You can follow the progress in Products → Omnibus price history.
- Enter your license key on the License tab of the settings (see License). Without a key the add-on works for 14 days.
- Set up the cron job (below) and check the label settings on the General tab.
Prices are known to the add-on only from the moment it is installed. For the first 30 days the label can only use what was recorded since then (see FAQ).
Copy the command from Settings → Recording → Cron and run it every 15 minutes:
*/15 * * * * php /home/yourstore/public_html/admin.php --dispatch=kv_omnibus_price_history.cronIf your hosting only calls URLs, use the cron URL shown on the same tab (it contains a secret key). Each run records edited products, continues the full check and deletes history older than the retention period once a day.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new zip over the installed add-on in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or install the Upgrade Center package). Settings and the price history are kept. On the next admin page the add-on completes the upgrade by itself (new tables, settings and texts are added).
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → EU Omnibus Lowest Price (30 days) → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (the whole price history and the exclusions), settings and texts. Export the history as CSV first if you need to keep it. Your products and prices are not changed.
