Which countries? Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Croatia, one country per BOX NOW account (vendors in Multi-Vendor can each have their own).
Do I need a BOX NOW contract? Yes. BOX NOW registers partners by e-mail and sends Stage (sandbox) credentials first, then Production. The add-on does not include a BOX NOW account.
Can I test without sending real parcels? Yes, on the Stage environment. The map works only with Production lockers, so on Stage the checkout shows the built-in list of the Stage lockers.
Where do the prices come from? From you. The Partner API has no price call; set a flat price or a weight table on the shipping method.
Does it support cash on delivery? Yes, if BOX NOW enabled it for your account. Mark the payment methods that mean cash on delivery in the settings; the amount is the order total in EUR (below 5000) and can be changed per order.
What if my store currency is not the euro? Add the euro to Settings > Currencies with its rate; the add-on converts the order value and the cash amount.
Home delivery? Not in this version: it delivers to BOX NOW lockers.
What happens when BOX NOW does not answer? The delivery is marked “Result unknown”. Nothing is sent twice: the add-on first looks the order number up at BOX NOW, and BOX NOW refuses a second request with the same number anyway.
Can I print on a Zebra printer? Yes, choose ZPL (200 or 300 dpi).
Is the add-on compatible with full page cache (CS-Cart 4.21)? Yes. The locker card is only on the checkout, which is never cached, and it holds no personal data or token.
Which CS-Cart versions? 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate, PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
My license shows “Pending verification”
Section titled “My license shows “Pending verification””This status appears in older add-on versions when you use a CS-Cart Marketplace license number that our license server has not matched with the Marketplace yet. The add-on is fully working in this state: no feature is switched off and you do not need to do anything. Newer versions show it as Active (Marketplace license). We confirm Marketplace numbers on our side; click Check now on the add-on’s License tab (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → the add-on) a little later and it shows Active. If it has not changed after 24 hours, contact support with your Marketplace order number.
