Create a pickup shipping method
Section titled “Create a pickup shipping method”- Open Administration → Shipping & taxes → Shipping methods and click +.
- Enter a name customers understand, for example “Omniva parcel machine”.
- Under Rate calculation choose the network, for example Omniva pickup points.
- Open the Configure tab and fill in the fields of the network (below). Choose the countries the method serves.
- Set the price in Shipping charges like for any method (per rate area, weight or subtotal). With no charges the method is free.
- Save. The method appears at checkout for shipping addresses in its countries.
On Multi-Vendor, a method created by the marketplace administrator is offered for vendors who have it in their shipping methods. Vendors who may create shipping methods can create their own with their own carrier account.
Common fields of every network:
- Countries: the method is offered only for shipping addresses in these countries.
- Point types: all, lockers only, or shops and post offices only (not for Packeta, whose widget shows both).
- Max parcel weight (in your store’s weight unit) and Max items per parcel: the method is hidden when the cart is heavier or has more items. Use the locker limits of your carrier.
Packeta (Zasilkovna)
Section titled “Packeta (Zasilkovna)”- Countries: Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania by default; more as your Packeta contract allows.
- Needs: the API key from the Packeta client section (Client support → API key).
- The customer chooses in Packeta’s widget (v6), which shows Packeta points and Z-BOXes on Packeta’s map. The add-on stores the chosen point.
Mondial Relay
Section titled “Mondial Relay”- Countries: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal by default.
- Needs: the brand code (Enseigne) and private key from your Mondial Relay contract. Mondial Relay gives test credentials to developers on request; use them first.
- Searches use the Mondial Relay web service
WSI4_PointRelais_Rechercheover plain HTTPS (no PHP SOAP extension needed).
InPost (Poland)
Section titled “InPost (Poland)”- Country: Poland.
- Needs: nothing to show points. The add-on reads the public InPost points data (
api-pl-points.easypack24.net). - “Lockers only” shows Paczkomaty; “Shops and post offices only” shows PaczkoPunkty.
- Country: Germany by default; other countries where the DHL Location Finder has data can be ticked.
- Needs: a free API key. On developer.dhl.com create an app with the “Location Finder - Unified” API. The free plan allows 500 searches a day and one per second; DHL can raise the quota for your account.
- DHL’s terms do not allow storing location data: every search is a live call, and only the point the customer chose is kept with the order.
- Countries: Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia.
- Needs: nothing. The customer chooses in the GLS map widget (
gls-dpm).
Omniva
Section titled “Omniva”- Countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.
- Needs: nothing. The add-on downloads Omniva’s public locations file (about 1,500 points), keeps it in the database and refreshes it after the cache period. Pickup points → Refresh Omniva points refreshes it at once.
Status page
Section titled “Status page”Administration → Shipping & taxes → Pickup points (4.21: in the administration menu next to Shipping methods) shows the six networks, every pickup method with its countries and whether account details are missing, the stored data, and a Test a search box that runs a real search with a method’s settings.
