Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3).
- PHP 7.4 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
- No other add-ons are required. The core “Payment dependencies” add-on can stay active; see FAQ.
Install
Section titled “Install”- Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons in the admin panel.
- Click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and choose the
kv_shipping_payment_restrictions-<version>.zipfile. - Click Upload & install. The add-on is installed and active.
- On the License tab of the settings (Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Shipping & Payment Restrictions > Settings), enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons > Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).
- Open Settings > Shipping & payment rules (CS-Cart 4.17: Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping & payment rules) to add your first rule.
Nothing changes at checkout until you create an active rule.
Update
Section titled “Update”Upload the new zip the same way. Your rules, messages and product tags are kept. The add-on brings its database tables and settings up to date on the next admin page load.
Upgrading to 1.1.0: this version adds the license check. After the upgrade the add-on keeps working for 14 days; enter your license key on the License tab of the settings within that time.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Shipping & Payment Restrictions > Uninstall removes the rules, the messages, the product restriction tags and the settings. Shipping and payment methods are not touched.
