Usage
Daily use
Section titled “Daily use”- The customer chooses a Royal Mail service at checkout; the price comes from your rate table.
- Open the order and the Royal Mail label and tracking tab and click Send to Click & Drop, or let the add-on do it when the order reaches the status you chose. The shipping address, parcel weight, items, totals and the service code are sent.
- OBA accounts: the label (and CN22/CN23 for international orders) comes back with the order; Download label opens the PDF. Pay as you go: open Click & Drop, print the label there; the tracking number is read back by cron (or press Refresh tracking) and becomes a CS-Cart shipment.
- The status follows Click & Drop: Order sent, Label generated, Label printed, Manifested, Despatched. Delivery is not reported by the API; the tracking number links to the Royal Mail tracking page.
- Cancel order deletes the Click & Drop order. A label that was already printed becomes invalid and must be destroyed; Royal Mail charges a handling fee when a cancelled label is found in its network.
