Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.4 to 8.3 with the cURL extension (CS-Cart needs it too).
- The store must be reachable from the internet over its own domain: the engines read the key file from it.
- Optional: a cron job, see below.
Install
Section titled “Install”- Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons and upload the zip file.
- Open the add-on, then the License tab, and enter your license key or your CS-Cart Marketplace license number.
- Go to Website > IndexNow & Last-Modified. The key and the key file are ready. Press Queue the URLs once to send your catalogue, then Send now.
- Optional: switch on Last-Modified and 304 for guests in the add-on settings.
Cron job
Section titled “Cron job”Changes made in the admin panel are sent at the end of that request. A cron job sends what is left: URLs changed by imports or the API, and URLs of a failed send. The add-on page shows the exact command, for example:
*/15 * * * * php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_indexing_booster.cronOver HTTP, add the core cron password: admin.php?dispatch=kv_indexing_booster.cron&cron_password=... (Settings > Security). With no password set, the HTTP path is closed.
Upgrade
Section titled “Upgrade”Upload the new zip over the installed add-on, or use the Upgrade Center. The key, the queue and the log are kept.
Disable and uninstall
Section titled “Disable and uninstall”While the add-on is disabled nothing is queued or sent and no header is added. Uninstalling removes the queue, the log and the key file the add-on wrote.
