Does Arcade work with my add-ons?
Section titled “Does Arcade work with my add-ons?”Yes. Arcade is a child of the standard Responsive theme and uses the stock product forms, cart block, filters and checkout, so add-ons that add buttons, labels or checkout steps keep working. Our own add-ons (for example Vendor Holiday Mode, Product labels, Free shipping progress bar) are styled to match every Arcade style.
Is Arcade only for Multi-Vendor?
Section titled “Is Arcade only for Multi-Vendor?”No. On Multi-Vendor every vendor gets a shop window, a facade on its vendor page and a sign card on its product pages. On CS-Cart every top-level category is a shop: the street shows one window per category and category pages open with that shop’s facade. Concept stores, gift shops and department stores that sell “by shop” or “by brand” fit well.
Which products appear in a shop window?
Section titled “Which products appear in a shop window?”The shop’s best sellers: products sorted by popularity (views and purchases), then newest, with the visitor’s own prices and only products the visitor may see. The list is cached and renewed when products, prices, images, promotions or shops change.
I have 80 vendors. Is the street too long?
Section titled “I have 80 vendors. Is the street too long?”The street shows the number of vendors set in the block (“Displayed vendors”, default 12) and scrolls sideways with arrows. The directory board under it lists every shop from A to Z.
My product photos have a white background.
Section titled “My product photos have a white background.”Keep the setting Blend white product photos into the lit windows on: white backgrounds blend into the lit windows, the shelves and the counter. For the best look use cut-out images with a transparent background.
Why does a window show “New stock soon”?
Section titled “Why does a window show “New stock soon”?”The shop has no active products the visitor can see (or all of them are hidden by your stock settings).
The offers countdown does not show.
Section titled “The offers countdown does not show.”The countdown only shows when the listed products are in a catalog promotion with an end date. Arcade never shows an invented timer.
Where are the language and currency selectors?
Section titled “Where are the language and currency selectors?”In the slim row above the header, aligned to the right, when your store has more than one language or currency.
Does the theme work with the full page cache?
Section titled “Does the theme work with the full page cache?”Yes. Every Arcade block prints catalogue data only; the Bag count comes from the core cart block and the phone bar reads it in the browser.
