Commission Invoices & Vendor Statements
Add-on ID: kv_vendor_commission_invoices · Edition: Multi-Vendor only · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
A marketplace keeps a commission on every sale and charges vendor plan fees, and in many countries it has to give its vendors a proper invoice for that. CS-Cart Multi-Vendor records the commission of every order in vendor accounting, but it never turns it into an invoice. This add-on does: once per period it builds one commission invoice per vendor from what core accounting recorded, numbers it, adds tax, e-mails it and lets the vendor download it.
- Invoices from core accounting: commission per order (exactly the amount core recorded, including commission rules, category fees and coupon funding of other add-ons), refunds as credit lines, and vendor plan fees.
- Never invoiced twice: every accounting transaction is invoiced once. Later changes (a cancelled order, a refund, a deleted or declined transaction) appear as correction lines on the next invoice.
- Periods: weekly, monthly (default) or quarterly, generated automatically after each period ends (cron job or admin panel), or manually for any period and vendors.
- Numbering: your own prefixes for invoices and credit notes, optional yearly restart, minimum digits, first number. Numbers are given when a document is issued, without gaps, and never reused.
- Parties: your company details (seller) and the vendor’s billing details (legal name, address, tax ID, billing e-mail), prefilled from the vendor profile and editable by you and, if you allow it, by the vendor.
- Tax: one tax line on the commission and fees, with your rate and name (VAT, GST, sales tax). Per vendor: standard rate, reverse charge (with your note) or exempt, and an optional own rate. No country rules are built in.
- Documents: drafts, issued, paid and void documents; credit notes (full or partial); fees and corrections as extra lines; notes.
- Settlement: commission is usually already withheld from vendor payouts, so invoices are marked paid when issued. Or let vendors pay each invoice with payment terms and a due date.
- PDF and print: the invoice uses the CS-Cart document template engine (Design > Documents), so you can change its layout. PDF files through the CS-Cart “PDF documents” add-on; a print view (print or save as PDF) always works.
- E-mail: the vendor gets the document by e-mail when it is issued, with the PDF attached when available.
- Vendor panel: the vendor’s own invoices and credit notes to view, print or download, and the billing details.
- Accounting export: CSV of documents or of every line, with the filters of the list.

Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 with PHP 8.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3). CS-Cart (Standard/Ultimate) refuses the installation by the edition check.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
- Needs the bundled Vendor plans add-on (it records the commission). Works with every add-on that writes its result into core vendor accounting, for example our Advanced Commission Rules, Vendor Coupons and Vendor Payouts Automation, and the bundled Vendor plans: Commissions by category.
- No storefront output: the storefront and the 4.21 full page cache are not affected.
License
Section titled “License”
The add-on checks its license for your store’s domain once a day from the admin panel. The License card on the add-on’s settings page shows the status, the bound domain and the support period. See Configuration and the FAQ.
