Installation
- In the CS-Cart admin open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the gear button and Manual installation, and upload the add-on package (
.zip). - Install ShipStation Connector. Installing records the order date of every existing order, so ShipStation can import older orders too.
- Enter your licence key under Settings > Licence of the add-on.
- Open Orders > ShipStation > Connection and follow Configuration.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
- The storefront must answer over HTTPS from the internet (ShipStation calls your store). A maintenance page, a password-protected staging site or a firewall that blocks ShipStation’s servers stops the import.
- The web server must pass the
Authorizationheader to PHP (see Troubleshooting if ShipStation reports a login error although the password is right). - A cron job is recommended for the retry queue (see Configuration).
Upgrades
Section titled “Upgrades”Upload the new package over the old one (Manual installation). The add-on brings its database and settings up to date by itself on the next admin page view; your credentials, status map and shipment history are kept.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Uninstalling removes the add-on’s tables (credentials, status map, log, shipment notices, change times). CS-Cart shipments that were created from ShipStation stay with their orders, but are shown without the carrier name and tracking link once the add-on is gone.
