Does Ridge work with my add-ons?
Section titled “Does Ridge work with my add-ons?”Yes. Ridge is a child of the standard Responsive theme and does not override product, cart or checkout templates, so add-on hooks keep working. Kavio Labs add-ons are styled to match each style.
Is Ridge only for outdoor stores?
Section titled “Is Ridge only for outdoor stores?”No. The chapters are your banners and the sports are your categories: a fishing, golf, equestrian, fitness, yoga or motorbike gear store uses the same structure with its own scenes. Choose a light style (Glacier or Desert) for a brighter store.
Why does a chapter show no product or price card?
Section titled “Why does a chapter show no product or price card?”Pick a product in the banner’s Ridge theme: chapter details (Marketing → Banners). The product must be active and available on the storefront.
Why is there no countdown on a price card or card?
Section titled “Why is there no countdown on a price card or card?”Countdowns need a catalog promotion with an end date on that product. Without an end date the sale price shows without a timer: Ridge never shows invented timers.
Why does a product show no callouts or gauges?
Section titled “Why does a product show no callouts or gauges?”Callouts come from features with Show in product header; gauges from number features and “from-to” text values. See Usage.
The condition chips are missing.
Section titled “The condition chips are missing.”Set the Conditions feature (code or ID) in the Ridge settings and give products variants of that feature.
Can I use photos for the scenes?
Section titled “Can I use photos for the scenes?”Yes. Use landscape photos of at least 1920 × 1080 px for chapters and 1600 × 900 px for category images; add a portrait phone image to a chapter for a better crop on phones, and switch on the darker overlay for bright photos.
What happens without a licence?
Section titled “What happens without a licence?”A new installation works for 14 days. After that, without a valid licence, the storefront shows the standard Responsive look; cart, checkout and orders keep working and visitors see no message. The admin panel tells you why and how to fix it. See Configuration.
Does the theme work on my staging copy?
Section titled “Does the theme work on my staging copy?”Yes. Subdomains of your licensed domain and local development hosts are covered by the same licence.
What happens if your licence server is down?
Section titled “What happens if your licence server is down?”Nothing visible: the theme keeps the last verified result and keeps working for 14 days while it retries.
Will an update overwrite my changes?
Section titled “Will an update overwrite my changes?”No. Files you changed are kept (a notice lists them), and layouts and blocks are never replaced.
