Let business buyers ask for a price instead of (or next to) buying at the list price. Customers collect products with options and quantities in a quote list, send it with their company details, notes and files, and get an offer back. When they accept, the products go to the cart at the quoted prices, and the order goes through your normal checkout.
Key features
Section titled “Key features”- “Request a quote” button next to “Add to cart” or instead of it, set for the whole store, per category or per product.
- Hidden prices for chosen user groups (for example guests or a wholesale group): they see “Price on request” and can only ask for a quote.
- Quote list with several products, options, quantities and a note per product; company, contact, phone, message and file attachments.
- Guests can request quotes with their e-mail address and open their quote through a signed link.
- My account > My quotes with seven statuses: New, In review, Offered, Accepted, Rejected, Expired, Ordered.
- Offer editor for staff: unit price or discount per product, offered quantity, quantity breaks (tier prices), shipping and delivery note, validity date, message.
- Message thread with attachments and internal notes on every quote.
- Accept and check out: the products go to the cart at the quoted prices. The prices are checked on the server on every cart update, apply to that quote only and can be ordered once.
- Customers can accept, ask for changes or decline; offers expire automatically after their validity date.
- Printable quote page for print or “Save as PDF”.
- E-mail and admin panel notifications in Administration > Notifications, with editable e-mail templates.
- Multi-Vendor: a request with products from several vendors is split into one quote per vendor, and each vendor answers its own quotes in the vendor panel.
- CS-Cart Ultimate: settings and quotes per storefront.
- Works with the 4.21 full page cache, CAPTCHA add-ons and the REST API.
