Troubleshooting
“Test connection” fails
Section titled ““Test connection” fails”- “Mercado Libre is not authorized yet”: press Connect to Mercado Libre and log in as the seller.
- “The Mercado Libre authorization has expired or was revoked”: connect again. Mercado Libre ends the authorization after a password change, after the application’s client secret is renewed, when access is revoked, after 6 months for the refresh token and after 4 months without any API call. Keep the cron running.
- “invalid_operator_user_id” after the redirect: you logged in with a collaborator or operator account; log in with the main seller account.
- “The application cannot connect to your account” at Mercado Libre: the redirect address of the application must match the one on the Connection page exactly and be https; check that the seller has no pending data or restriction in the account.
- “belongs to site … but the account is set to …”: change the Site on the Connection page.
- invalid_client: client ID or secret are wrong (or the secret was renewed in the developer center). Check for spaces.
- The Log tab shows the Mercado Libre answer (masked). Your server must reach
api.mercadolibre.comover HTTPS and have a current CA bundle.
An item is refused
Section titled “An item is refused”The Listings page shows the reason from Mercado Libre. Frequent ones: a missing required attribute (map it on the Attributes page), a title that is too long or contains a stock or condition word, an image Mercado Libre cannot download, a GTIN that is required but not valid (use a real EAN/UPC as the barcode), a listing type that is not available for the category, or a category that is not a leaf. The new User Products model, if active for your account, changes which fields Mercado Libre accepts.
The price did not change at Mercado Libre
Section titled “The price did not change at Mercado Libre”If the item has price automation or a running campaign, Mercado Libre ignores the price sent by API and says so; the message is shown on the product. Change it in Mercado Libre or end the automation.
An order is not imported
Section titled “An order is not imported”- Orders that are not paid yet stay at Mercado Libre until they are.
- “No product mapping for barcode …”: the item’s SELLER_SKU is not a mapped product. Map the product with that barcode; the import is retried. Items you created yourself in Mercado Libre need the SELLER_SKU attribute.
- A notification that never arrives: check the notification address in the application (https, reachable, the key unchanged) and look for “Rejected” rows in the Log. The poll imports the order at the next sync anyway.
A label cannot be downloaded
Section titled “A label cannot be downloaded”Labels exist only for Mercado Envios 2 shipments in the state ready to ship / ready to print (or printed). Mercado Libre answers not_printable_status otherwise (for example while the shipment is still being prepared) and invalid_shipment_mode for shipments that are not Mercado Envios 2. Fulfillment (Full) shipments are labelled by Mercado Libre.
Nothing happens after an order changes status
Section titled “Nothing happens after an order changes status”- Check Settings > General > Enable and the order status settings.
- Check the license status bar on the add-on pages.
- Open Jobs: queued jobs wait for cron. If the counts never change, the cron job is not running; run the command from the settings page by hand once.
A job is “Waiting to retry” or “Gave up”
Section titled “A job is “Waiting to retry” or “Gave up””The last error is shown in the list. Fix the cause (authorization, data, Mercado Libre outage or rate limit) and press Retry. Jobs are retried automatically after 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours and 12 hours before they give up.
The cron address answers “Forbidden”
Section titled “The cron address answers “Forbidden””The key in the address is wrong. Copy the address again from the settings page.
Still stuck
Section titled “Still stuck”Send the log export (secrets and tokens are masked) and the add-on version to support.
