Configuration
Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Vendor Analytics Dashboard (click the add-on name). The settings are stored once for the whole marketplace.
General
Section titled “General”| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Enable analytics | On | Turns the analytics pages, the exports and the view counter on or off without uninstalling. |
| Order statuses counted as sales | none checked | Orders in the checked statuses count as revenue, orders, items and customers. With nothing checked, the add-on uses the statuses that count for vendor payouts (Administration → Order statuses, “Calculate for payouts”; by default Processed, Complete and Open), so revenue matches vendor accounting. Check statuses here only if you want a different definition, for example Complete only. |
| Default period | Last 30 days | The period a page opens with. Users can choose another one on the page. |
| Default comparison | Previous period | Previous period, same period last year, or no comparison. |
| Rows in the top lists | 10 | Rows in the top products, most viewed products and top customers lists (5–50). The CSV exports always contain every row. |
| Cache results for (minutes) | 15 | Reports are cached for this many minutes so that large marketplaces stay fast. 0 turns the cache off. Refresh on a page recalculates the figures (at most once a minute). |
Vendor panel
Section titled “Vendor panel”| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Vendors can open their analytics | On | Adds Orders → Analytics to the vendor panel. When off, vendors cannot open the page or the exports. |
| Show payouts and balance to vendors | On | The payouts panel: current balance, earnings, commission and payouts in the period, pending withdrawal requests. |
| Show top customers to vendors | On | Names, order counts and totals of the customers of the vendor’s own orders. Turn off if vendors should not see customer lists. The CSV export of customers follows this setting. |
| Vendors can export CSV | On | The Export CSV menu and links in the vendor panel. |
| Show the anonymous marketplace benchmark | On | Shows each vendor the marketplace median of revenue, average order value and conversion of all vendors with sales in the period. It is shown only when at least 3 vendors have sales; no other vendor is named. |
Product views
Section titled “Product views”| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Count product views and cart adds | On | Counts one view per product and visitor session (the same rule CS-Cart uses for its popularity counter) and every add to cart, per day. Search engine bots, administrators and vendor staff are not counted. Needed for views and conversion rates. |
| Keep view statistics for (days) | 730 | Older daily counters are deleted by the daily maintenance (30–3650). |
| Daily maintenance | The maintenance runs once a day when someone opens the admin panel or the vendor panel. You can also run it from cron: php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_vendor_analytics.maintenance |
Privileges
Section titled “Privileges”The add-on adds one privilege, View vendor analytics (view_kv_vendor_analytics, group Vendor analytics):
- Administrators need it to open Orders → Vendor analytics and the marketplace and vendor dashboards (root administrators always have it).
- Vendors with the bundled Vendor privileges add-on: vendor user groups need it to open Orders → Analytics. Without Vendor privileges, every vendor administrator can open the page while Vendors can open their analytics is on.
Vendors always see only their own data: the vendor is taken from the logged-in user’s company, never from the request, and every query is filtered by it. The vendor comparison and the marketplace dashboard are never available in the vendor panel.
License
Section titled “License”The license status is shown in a License card at the top of the add-on page, above the tabs, so you see it on every tab. The License tab holds the key itself. The key is stored once for the whole installation.

The License card shows:
- the status in color: green when valid, blue for a development host or the 14-day period before a key is required (with the days left), amber when the license server could not be reached (with the days left) or a Marketplace number is still being verified, red when the add-on is switched off;
- in plain words what the status means and, when the add-on is (or will be) switched off, what stops: vendors and administrators see a notice instead of the analytics pages and CSV exports, and new product views and cart adds are not counted; orders, payouts and the core dashboard keep working, and collected data is kept;
- the licensed domain, every storefront with its result (covered, development host, not covered), the end of the updates and support period, the last and the next check, and the key in use (masked);
- the actions Enter license key / Change license key (opens the License tab), Check now (verifies at once and stays on the page), Manage license (your licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) and, without a valid license, Buy a license.
In Add-ons → Manage add-ons the add-on’s row shows a small license badge next to its name, for example License: Valid or License: Pending · 9 days left.
The add-on’s own admin pages (the vendor comparison and the dashboards) show the license status in a bar at the top: a small green chip when the license is valid, or a banner with the status, what is switched off and the same actions as the card. Vendors never see license information.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| License key | Your Kavio Labs license key (KAVIO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, from My licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) or your CS-Cart Marketplace license number. If you entered the Marketplace license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (the add-on’s license field), leave this empty: the add-on uses that number. |
| License status | Points to the License card and explains what the check sends. |
What the license covers. A license is bound to the base domain you entered at purchase (for example example.com) and covers every subdomain of it (www.example.com, shop.example.com, staging.example.com). Local development hosts are always allowed: localhost, 127.0.0.1 and other private IP addresses, and host names ending in .localhost, .test, .local, .example or .invalid. A marketplace on a different base domain needs its own license. If you move your marketplace to a new domain, contact support.
When the add-on checks. When you save the key, and then once a day. The check runs only in the admin panel (on a page you open) or from cron, never while customers browse the storefront or place orders, and takes a few seconds at most. A cron job keeps the license verified even when nobody opens the admin panel:
php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_vendor_analytics_dashboard_license.checkWhat is sent. The check sends this to https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com and nothing else: the license key, the add-on ID and version, the host names of your storefronts, your CS-Cart version and edition, and a random one-time value. No customer, vendor, order or personal data is sent. The server answers with a digitally signed result, so a forged answer is ignored.
Statuses.
| Status (card) | Color | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Valid | Green | The license is valid for this domain. Everything works. |
| Development host | Blue | The store runs on a local development host, which every license covers. Everything works. |
| Pending verification | Amber | A CS-Cart Marketplace license number was accepted, but the Marketplace has not confirmed it yet. Everything works. |
| Pending · N days left | Blue | No verified key yet (a new installation). Everything works for 14 days. |
| Grace period · N days left | Amber | The last checks failed (for example a network problem). The add-on keeps working for 14 days after the first failed check. |
| Not activated, Invalid key, Revoked, Domain mismatch, Not verified | Red | The analytics pages and CSV exports show a notice instead of figures, in the admin panel and in the vendor panel, and new product views and cart adds are not counted. Orders, payouts, vendor accounting, the core dashboard and the storefront keep working. Collected counters are kept and used again when the license is valid. Domain mismatch shows the licensed domain next to the domain your store runs on. |
When your updates and support period ends, the add-on keeps working. Only updates and support stop.
License information appears in the admin panel only, and only for administrators who may manage add-ons; vendors and customers never see it. When the add-on is switched off, other admin pages also show a notice once per session with a link to the add-on page; the add-on page and the add-on’s own pages show the card or the status bar instead.
