Usage

Product page. Under the buy buttons:

  • within the countdown threshold before the cut-off: Order within 2 h 13 min, get it by Thu, Oct 22 (or get it between Thu, Oct 22 and Mon, Oct 26);
  • otherwise: Get it by Thu, Oct 22 or Estimated delivery: Thu, Oct 22 – Mon, Oct 26.

The countdown updates every 30 seconds and moves to the next order window by itself when the cut-off passes, without reloading the page. Products that are out of stock (unless you allow it) and downloadable products show no estimate. On Multi-Vendor the vendor’s calendar is used.

Cart. One estimate per package (per vendor on Multi-Vendor), for the chosen shipping method and the slowest product in the package.

Checkout. Under the shipping methods of each package:

  • Estimate only methods show the estimate line;
  • Choose a delivery day methods show day tiles (booked-out days are marked Full);
  • Choose a day and time slot methods show day tabs and the slots of the selected day. Each slot shows its time, No extra charge or the fee (for example +$4.50), Only 2 left when few places remain, and Full or Closed when it can no longer be booked. The chosen slot is summarised above the tiles (“Your choice: Tue, Oct 20, 18:00–20:00”).

Choosing a slot recalculates the shipping cost at once, the same way as choosing a shipping method. When a choice is required and missing, or the slot was booked out meanwhile, the order is not placed and the customer stays on the checkout page with the message Please choose a delivery day and time slot. or The delivery time you chose is no longer available. Please choose another one.

Order pages. The customer’s order page shows Delivery: Tue, Oct 20, 2026, 18:00–20:00 (or Estimated delivery: … for estimate-only methods) under the shipping method.

  • Order page: a Delivery date and time block under the shipping information with the chosen day, slot and slot fee. Change delivery sets another date and slot (saved with the order’s Save button). The fee and the shipping cost are not changed and capacity is not checked, so staff can always move an order.
  • Order list: a sortable Delivery column (date and slot, or “est.” with the estimate). Advanced search has Delivery date from/to and a Delivery filter (day or slot chosen, time slot, delivery day, estimate only).
  • Editing an order (order management) keeps the chosen slot and its fee.

Orders → Delivery slots shows, per shipping method with days or slots, a grid of slots × days with booked / capacity and a bar: green when booked, amber at 75 % or more, red when full; “–” when the slot is not offered that day. Choose the start date and 7–31 days, a shipping method and (Multi-Vendor admin) a vendor. Click a number to open the matching orders. Without a vendor, a marketplace board shows the bookings of all vendors; capacity is shown per vendor unless capacity is shared. The license status bar is shown at the top of the board, the calendar and the method page.

At installation the add-on adds the snippet Delivery date and time slot to the Invoice and Order summary documents (Design → Documents) and places {{ snippet("kv_delivery_slot") }} after the paragraph that prints the shipping method. The order summary is included in the order e-mails, so customers and staff see DELIVERY Tue, Oct 20, 2026, 18:00–20:00 in the order notification. If you edited your invoice and it has no shipping method line, insert {{ snippet("kv_delivery_slot") }} where you want it, or use the variables directly:

Variable Example
{{ kv_delivery.title }} Delivery / Estimated delivery
{{ kv_delivery.text }} Tue, Oct 20, 2026, 18:00–20:00
{{ kv_delivery.date }} Tue, Oct 20, 2026
{{ kv_delivery.time }} 18:00–20:00
{{ kv_delivery.method }} Local courier
{{ kv_delivery.fee }} $4.50

With Vendors may set their own calendar, methods and time slots on, vendors find Settings → Delivery calendar and Orders → Delivery slots in their panel:

  • Calendar: Use the marketplace calendar (default) or Use my own calendar: own working days, cut-off, processing and transit time and closed days for the vendor’s products. Marketplace closed days always apply.
  • Shipping methods: the vendor’s own methods and the marketplace methods enabled for the vendor. Saving a method creates the vendor’s own options and slots; Return to the marketplace settings removes them.
  • Slot board and orders: only the vendor’s own bookings and orders. Vendors can change the delivery date of their own orders.

A customer buying from two vendors sees one picker per vendor package; each vendor order stores its own slot.

Select a storefront in the admin panel to give it its own calendar, closed days and method settings; Use the calendar of all storefronts goes back to the shared calendar. The add-on settings can also differ per storefront.

Design → Layouts → Add block → Next delivery shows the store’s next estimate with the countdown, or, when you enter the ID of a shipping method with time slots in the block settings, the next free slot (“Next free slot: today, 18:00–20:00”). The block uses the same cache-safe technique as the product page.
