Usage
Part of the PostNord Shipping documentation. Previous: Configuration. Next: FAQ.
Checkout
Section titled “Checkout”- The PostNord methods appear for delivery addresses in their destination countries, with your price and, if enabled, the PostNord delivery estimate.
- With MyPack Collect a card “PostNord service point” appears. “Choose a service point” opens the points nearest to the delivery address (name, address, opening hours, distance); the customer can search another postal code. The order cannot be placed without a point, and a point of another country than the delivery address is refused.
- The chosen point is shown on the order page, in order e-mails and on invoices.
Order page (PostNord tab)
Section titled “Order page (PostNord tab)”- Book at PostNord and get the label: parcels (1-10) and total weight (taken from the products). The label is stored at once; Download label gives the PDF or ZPL file.
- Look up at PostNord: shown when PostNord did not answer a booking. It searches the reference in Track and Trace and adopts the booking if it exists. The queue also looks it up every 10 minutes. The add-on never books it again by itself.
- Book again: offered 30 minutes after the first attempt, when a lookup still finds nothing. Use it only if you are sure PostNord has no booking (check the PostNord portal).
- Delete at PostNord (Swedish agreements, Z12): deletes the booking with an EDI “Deletion” while the parcel is not yet on its way. PostNord supports deletion by API only for Sweden.
- Void the booking (Danish, Norwegian, Finnish agreements): removes the booking and its label in the store only. Do not hand the parcel over to PostNord.
- Create a return label: books a return (service 24 by default) and stores its label; give it to the customer.
- Refresh tracking and Change the service point (before the booking).
Orders > PostNord shipments lists every booking with filters; Log and Jobs show calls, errors and queued work.
