EU Omnibus Lowest Price (30 days)
Add-on ID: kv_omnibus_price_history · Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.1 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
CS-Cart keeps only the current price of a product. When you announce a price reduction in the EU, Article 6a of the Price Indication Directive (98/6/EC, as amended by the Omnibus Directive 2019/2161) asks you to show the prior price: the lowest price you applied in the 30 days before the reduction. This add-on records every price change of your products and shows that value next to the reduced price, for example Lowest price in the last 30 days: $80.00.
- Automatic price history: the base price, the list price and the final price after catalog promotions are recorded for every product and variation, on every storefront. A new row is written only when a value changes, so the history stays small.
- Recorded from day one: on installation the current prices of the whole catalog are stored as the starting point.
- Every way a price can change: product edits (admin and vendor panel), imports, mass price updates, catalog promotions that start, end or change, and changes made outside CS-Cart (API, scripts) through a regular full check.
- Lowest price label on the storefront: on the product page, optionally in product lists; only when a reduction is shown (promotion discount or list price strike-through) or next to every price. The period (30 days by default), the calculation and the wording are configurable.
- Price history in the product editor: a chart of the last 90 days, the lowest price the label shows, and a table of every change with the change in percent.
- Omnibus price history page: all price changes of the catalog with search, period and storefront filters, and a CSV export (also per product).
- Exclusions: switch the label off for single products, for example goods that perish quickly.
- Safe for the full page cache: the label shows the price guests see, which is the same for every guest.

Compliance note. The add-on helps you show the prior price required by the directive. It records prices from the moment it is installed, and it shows the value according to the settings you choose. You remain responsible for your price indications. This documentation is not legal advice.
