FAQ

A rule does what it says, so check it in preview first. New rules start in preview, ignore older orders and handle a limited number of orders per run. Going live needs a confirmation. A rule looks at status, time, payment method, shipping method and total. It does not know whether money arrived, unless your payment method sets the status.

Leave it out of cancel rules. Choose the payment methods in the rule.

Yes. Rules never run on a visitor’s page load, so a busy page never slows down and nothing runs at a random moment. Run now works by hand.

That depends on your order status settings, as with a manual change.

Only if you tick a notification in the rule. Core sends them, with the template of the new status.

No. Order Admin Pro is for manual work on orders. This add-on works on its own schedule. The status changes it makes appear in the Order Admin Pro timeline like any other.

No. Only administrators. A rule can be limited to some vendors.

Does it work with split Multi-Vendor orders?

Section titled “Does it work with split Multi-Vendor orders?”

Yes. Rules act on vendor orders. The parent order is left to core.

No. If someone moves the order back, the rule leaves it. Create a separate rule if you need another step.

One license covers one CS-Cart installation, including its development and staging copies. The add-on verifies the license for your domain once a day from the admin panel. The storefront makes no license calls.

Do I need to enter the key again after an update?

Section titled “Do I need to enter the key again after an update?”

No. The key stays in the settings.

The add-on keeps working. You lose new versions and support until you renew, which is optional, at 50%.

Rules stop changing orders. Rules and activity stay.

Work through the troubleshooting guide, then contact support with your CS-Cart version, edition, PHP version and the add-on version (1.0.0).
