Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3.
- An account on each ad platform you want to use, with its pixel or tag ID (see Configuration for where to find each ID).
Install
Section titled “Install”- In the admin panel go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and upload
kv_marketing_pixels_pack-1.0.0.zip. - Open the add-on settings. Every platform is off after the installation, so nothing changes on your storefront yet.
- Enter your license key on the License tab (see License). Without a key the add-on works for 14 days.
- On the General tab, switch Test mode on. Then open each platform tab you use, switch the platform on, paste its ID and choose the events.
- Open your storefront with
?kv_mpx_test=1at the end of the address (the Status block on the General tab has a link) and check the events in the platform’s own test tool (see Usage). When everything arrives, switch Test mode off.
If you already added one of these tags by hand (a pasted snippet in a template, a block or Google Tag Manager), remove it, otherwise the platform counts page views and events twice.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new zip over the installed add-on in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or install the Upgrade Center package). Settings are kept. On the next admin page the add-on completes the upgrade by itself (new settings and texts are added).
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Marketing Pixels Pack → Uninstall removes the add-on’s settings, texts and its small table of reported orders, and removes the “Advertising pixels” service from the CS-Cart cookie dialog. The tags disappear from the storefront at once. Data already sent to the ad platforms stays in your ad accounts.
