Purchase Orders & Suppliers brings purchasing into your CS-Cart admin panel. You see which products need reordering, turn the suggestions into purchase orders with one click, e-mail them to your suppliers with a printable purchase order, and receive the goods into stock, in full or in several partial deliveries. Costs, margins and the quantities already on order are visible where you work: in the product list and the product editor.

CS-Cart has no purchase orders and no receiving. The core Suppliers add-on only links products to drop-ship suppliers; when it is active, this add-on uses its suppliers too.

• Suppliers with purchasing terms: PO e-mail and copy addresses, contact person, currency, lead time, minimum order value and payment terms. Each product can have several suppliers with their own supplier SKU, unit cost and pack quantity.
• Reorder suggestions: products whose stock plus the quantity already on order is at or below their reorder point. The suggested quantity fills the stock up to the target, rounded to the supplier’s pack size, grouped by supplier. Select rows and create one draft purchase order per supplier.
• Purchase orders with sequential numbers in your own format (for example PO-2026-00001), statuses Draft, Sent, Partially received, Received and Cancelled, supplier SKUs, unit costs, shipping and other costs, expected delivery date, delivery address and notes.
• E-mail to the supplier with the purchase order in the message, or attached as a PDF when the core PDF documents add-on is active, plus a secure link to a printable page. The purchase order layout is editable in Design → Documents.
• Receiving: enter the delivered quantities per line; the stock goes up immediately and exactly once, also when two people receive at the same time or the form is sent twice. Variations are separate products and are received into their own stock. Every receipt is logged with the stock before and after.
• Costs and margins: the last purchase cost and a weighted average cost are kept per product; margins against the current price are shown on purchase orders and in the product list. With the Kavio Labs Product Cost & Profit add-on its cost price is updated on receipt too.
• On order everywhere: the product list shows “+12 on order”, the product editor the next delivery date.
• Storefront delivery note (optional): out-of-stock products can show “Back in stock expected on …” from the next open purchase order. Full page cache safe.
• Report and export: open order value by supplier, overdue purchase orders, goods received in a period; CSV export with one row per purchase order line.
• Multi-Vendor: vendors manage their own suppliers and purchase orders for their own products; the administrator sees all.
