License Agreement (EULA)

Effective date: October 2026

This License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Kavio Labs Software Limited (“Kavio Labs”, “we”) and the person or company that buys or uses a Kavio Labs add-on (“you”). It applies to every add-on we publish, including its code, templates, language files, images and documentation (the “Software”). By installing the Software you accept this Agreement.

1. License grant

When you pay for a license, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on one CS-Cart installation in the edition you bought. The license does not expire.

2. Domains, staging and development

Each license is bound to one base domain: the domain you enter at checkout, for example example.com. If a license has no domain yet, it is bound to the first production domain on which the Software checks it.
The license covers every subdomain of that base domain, for example www.example.com, shop.example.com and staging.example.com. www and non-www count as one domain.
Development hosts are always allowed and never count as a domain: localhost, 127.0.0.1 and other private IP addresses, and host names ending in .localhost, .test, .local, .example or .invalid. Public IP addresses are not development hosts. Test copies must not take real orders.
If your staging copy runs on a different public domain, ask our support: we can add one additional domain to the license free of charge.
A store on a different base domain needs its own license. There is no self-service domain change. If a domain was entered with a typo, or you move your store to a new domain and stop using the old one, contact support and we will correct or move the binding.
With CS-Cart Ultimate or Multi-Vendor Ultimate, all storefronts of the installation are covered when they run on the licensed base domain or its subdomains. Storefronts on another base domain need their own license.

3. Updates and support

Every license includes 12 months of updates and support, counted from the date of purchase. You can extend the period at checkout, to 24 or 36 months.
During the period you get every new version of the add-on and support as described in the Support Policy.
After the period ends, the Software keeps working. You keep every version released during your period and can reinstall it at any time. New versions and support pause.
Renewal is optional. It costs 50% of the current price and adds 12 months. The new period starts from the end of the old one, or from the renewal date if the old period ended more than a year ago.
Critical security fixes are made available to every license holder, even after the update period has ended.

4. Source code and modifications

The Software is delivered as unencoded source code.
You may modify it for use on your licensed installation, or have a developer modify it for you. Modified code is not covered by support, and an update may overwrite your changes. We recommend using CS-Cart hooks and template overrides instead.

5. Restrictions

You may not, in whole or in part, and whether modified or not:

redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, share or publish the Software, its source code or license keys;
include it in themes, add-ons, hosting images or other products you distribute;
use one license on more than one production installation or base domain, except as allowed in section 2;
remove, disable or circumvent the license check;
remove copyright notices from the source code;

Agencies and freelancers may install the Software for a client only with a license bought for that client’s installation.

6. License check

The Software checks with our license server at https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com that your license is valid for the domain it runs on.

When it checks: when you save the license key, and then about once every 24 hours. The check runs only in the admin panel (when an administrator opens a page) or from a cron job, never on storefront requests, so your customers are not affected.
What it sends: the license key, the add-on ID and version, the host names of your storefronts, your CS-Cart version and edition, and a random one-time value. Nothing else: no customer, order, administrator or store-content data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Signed answers: the server answers with a digitally signed result (Ed25519). The Software ignores answers without a valid signature.
New installation: the Software works for 14 days without a verified license key, so you have time to enter it.
Server unreachable: if a check fails, for example because of a network problem, the Software keeps the last verified result and keeps working for 14 days from the first failed check. A verified result is trusted for up to 45 days without a new check. We recommend the cron job described in the documentation.
Without a valid license, for example when no key is entered after 14 days, the key is invalid or revoked, or the store runs on a domain the license does not cover, the Software switches its own features off safely. It causes no fatal error, does not break your checkout and shows no license messages on the storefront. Your settings and data are kept. Administrators see a notice in the admin panel, and the add-on works again as soon as a valid license is entered or verified.
The end of the update period does not stop the Software. Only new versions and support pause (section 3).
CS-Cart Marketplace licenses: enter your Marketplace license number in the add-on (or in Add-ons → Manage add-ons). It is accepted for the domain on which it is first checked.
The Software is delivered unencoded and contains no usage tracking. The license check is the only connection it makes to our servers.

7. Transfer

You may transfer a license to the new owner when you sell the store it is installed on. Ask us through the help desk. The old owner must stop using it.

8. Third-party services

Some add-ons connect to third-party services, such as Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Meta, iyzico, PayTR or Telegram.

You need your own account with those services and must follow their terms.
Their availability, API changes and fees are outside our control.
We update our add-ons when these services change their APIs, within the update period.

9. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your store’s compliance with the law. This includes privacy and cookie laws, consumer law and tax rules.
Add-ons that help with compliance, such as the Cookie Consent Manager, are tools. They are not legal advice.
Keep backups before you install or update anything.

10. Warranty and liability

We warrant that the Software works substantially as described on its product page and in its documentation, on the compatible versions listed there. If it does not, we will fix it, or refund you under the Refund Policy.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the Software is provided “as is”.
Our liability is limited as set out in section 9 of the Terms of Service.

11. Termination

This Agreement ends automatically if you breach section 5 and do not fix the breach within 14 days of our notice.
A license that has been refunded also ends. A refunded or revoked license is reported as revoked to the Software at its next check, and the Software switches its features off.
When this Agreement ends, you must stop using the Software and delete it.
Sections 5, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Marketplace purchases and general terms

Licenses bought on the CS-Cart Marketplace: the Marketplace end-user license agreement applies, together with this Agreement. Where the two differ on use rights, the terms more favorable to you apply. Your Marketplace license number is your license key (section 6). You get the same updates and support through the Upgrade Center and our help desk.
Governing law: this Agreement is governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW]. The courts of [COURTS] have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections of your country are not affected.
