Installation and setup
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
- Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
- A DPD customer account for the DPD Web Connect web services: a DelisID (8 to 10 characters), its password and the customer number of your contract. DPD runs a stage (test) system and a production system with separate users: ask your DPD contact for both. DPD checks and approves each integration before it may use production, so start with the stage user.
- A cron job on your server (step 7).
Install the add-on
Section titled “Install the add-on”- Download the
kv_dpd-<version>.zippackage from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account. - In the admin panel, open Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
- Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
- Find DPD Shipping Labels & Pickup Points in the list and make sure its status is Active.
- Enter your license key under Settings > License (Kavio Labs downloads) and click Check now.
Connect DPD
Section titled “Connect DPD”- Open Orders > DPD labels and the Connection tab (or Settings > Connection).
- Choose Test mode and enter the test DelisID, password and customer number. Enter the sender address (it is printed on the label; empty = the company data of your store).
- Click Save and test. A green message with the sending depot (for example “Signed in (test mode), depot 0163”) means DPD accepted the login. The test never creates a shipment.
- Switch to Live only after DPD approved the integration; enter the live DelisID, password and customer number and test again.
- Open Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods, add a method, choose the carrier DPD and a service (DPD Classic, DPD Pickup, 8:30, 12:00, 18:00, MAX, Express International). On the Configure tab enter your price, countries and optional weight limit.
- For DPD Pickup create a method with the service DPD Pickup (parcel shop); the customer chooses a shop at the checkout.
- Add the cron job from the settings page (Cron section), every minute is fine. Overlapping runs are prevented.
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”By default the marketplace owner connects one account for all vendors (Marketplace owner mode on). Switch it off to let each vendor connect their own DPD account in the vendor panel (Connection tab).
Update
Section titled “Update”- Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, credentials and data are kept.
- The add-on adds missing tables and settings by itself on the first request after the update.
See CHANGELOG for what changed in each version.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. This removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, shipping services and methods, and database tables, including the stored credentials and labels.
