Vendor Plan Limits
Add-on ID: kv_vendor_plan_limits · Edition: Multi-Vendor only · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
Core vendor plans limit products, revenue and categories. They say nothing about how much a vendor uploads for each product. Vendor Plan Limits adds that: images per product, images inside descriptions, attachments and file sizes, set per plan. A vendor at a limit gets a clear message that names the plan that allows more, with a link to compare plans.
- Images per product: the gallery limit counts the main image and additional images.
- Images in descriptions: separate limits for the full description, short description and promo text. Text is always saved.
- File size per plan: a maximum size per image and per attachment.
- Attachments per product: with the core Attachments add-on.
- Enforced on the server: the vendor panel, direct POST requests, the REST API, GraphQL, bulk edit and CSV import all follow the same limits.
- Nothing online is deleted: limits apply to new uploads only. After a plan downgrade, products above the limit stay exactly as they are.
- Usage meter: vendors see “6 of 8” on the product page, and what is left.
- Limits on the plan cards: vendors see each plan’s limits where they choose a plan, in the vendor panel and on the storefront.
- Vendors at the limit: a list of vendors whose uploads were refused, so you know who to talk to about a higher plan.
Vendor Plan Limits is about product media. Vendor Storefront Pro, also from Kavio Labs, is about the vendor’s shop page: it decides which profile sections and how many featured products each plan gets. The two work side by side and limit different things.
