DHL Express (MyDHL API): Rates, Labels, Customs & Pickups
Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
DHL Express for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor on the MyDHL API. It replaces the core DHL module, which (up to CS-Cart 4.21.2) still uses DHL’s legacy XML-PI interface, which DHL Express has deprecated in favour of the MyDHL API (integrators report deprecation for non-enterprise accounts from 3 June 2025).
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Live DHL Express rates at checkout for your own DHL Express account, in your store currency, with an optional handling fee and the estimated delivery date. One shipping method per DHL product (Express Worldwide, Economy Select, Express 9:00 / 10:30 / 12:00, Domestic …) or “best available”.
- Labels from the order page or automatically at an order status: PDF (A4) or ZPL (8x4 or 6x4 inch thermal), commercial invoice and waybill for international parcels, Paperless Trade, DAP or DDP, insurance, optional courier pickup with the label.
- Customs data from the order: one line per product with HS code and country of origin (from the Kavio Labs “Cross-Border Duties” add-on when installed, else your defaults), Latin-only descriptions as DHL requires.
- Courier pickups for several shipments at once, and cancellation.
- Tracking with the DHL events on the order page; the waybill on the customer’s order page and e-mails links to DHL’s tracking page.
- Duties and taxes estimate (DHL Landed Cost) on the order page.
- Duplicate label protection: a lost answer is resolved by searching DHL for the shipment reference, not by sending the request again.
- Multi-Vendor: one marketplace account (vendors see labels and tracking) or one DHL account per vendor. CS-Cart: an optional account per storefront.
