Requirements

• CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3 with the OpenSSL and cURL extensions.
• HTTPS on the storefront. Google, Apple, Microsoft and Facebook accept only HTTPS redirect addresses on a real domain. Tick Settings → Security settings → Enable secure connection for the storefront.
• A developer account at each provider you want to use (free). The add-on shows the exact steps for each provider.
• No cron job is needed.

Install

1. In the admin panel go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and upload kv_social_login_pro-1.0.0.zip.
2. Open Customers → Social sign-in (Users → Social sign-in in CS-Cart 4.21). Copy the Redirect URI shown at the top: every provider app needs it.
3. Click Set up next to a provider, follow the numbered steps on the right, paste the keys, tick Show this sign-in button and save. Check settings tests the keys without involving a customer.
4. Sign in on the storefront with the new button to finish.
5. Enter your license key on the License tab of the add-on settings (see License). Without a key the add-on works for 14 days.

If the built-in Social login add-on already has providers, the Social sign-in page offers Import from Social login: it copies the Google and Facebook keys and keeps the customers connected. Then switch the built-in providers off so customers don’t see two sets of buttons.

Upgrading

Upload the new zip over the installed add-on in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or install the Upgrade Center package). Providers, connected accounts and statistics are kept. On the next admin page the add-on completes the upgrade by itself (new tables, settings and texts are added).

Uninstalling

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Social Login Pro → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (provider keys, connected accounts, statistics), settings and texts. Customer accounts stay. Customers who registered through a provider and never set a password use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page to set one.
