Vendor Vacation Mode
Add-on ID: kv_vendor_holiday_mode · Edition: Multi-Vendor only · Latest version: 1.1.1 · Compatible with: Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
Vendor Vacation Mode lets the vendors on your marketplace pause their store while they are away. A vendor picks optional start and end dates and writes a short message for customers. The marketplace then does the rest:
- A banner on the vendor’s store pages and product pages says the vendor is on vacation, shows the message, and can show the expected return date.
- Products of the vendor are handled the way you choose. They can stay purchasable with a “ships after” notice, stay visible with the add-to-cart button replaced, or be hidden from categories, search and product blocks.
- Products that were already in customers’ carts produce a warning, or block the order until they are removed.
- Vacation mode starts and ends on its own when dates are set. No cron job is needed.
- Administrators get a list of vendors on vacation, can edit or end any vacation, and can lock a vendor’s settings.
- Optionally, the administrator gets an email when a vendor turns vacation mode on.
