No. The add-on never deletes what is stored. Limits apply to new uploads.

Will installing it change anything for my vendors?

Section titled “Will installing it change anything for my vendors?”

Not until you enter limits. An empty box means no limit.

How is this different from Vendor Storefront Pro?

Section titled “How is this different from Vendor Storefront Pro?”

Vendor Storefront Pro controls the vendor’s shop page: which profile sections a plan gets and how many featured products. Vendor Plan Limits controls product media: images, attachments and file sizes. You can use both.

Can a vendor get around the limits with the API or CSV?

Section titled “Can a vendor get around the limits with the API or CSV?”

The limits are checked on the server for the panel, direct POST requests, the REST API, GraphQL, bulk edit and CSV import. See Usage.

No. Administrators can add any number of images to a vendor’s product.

Does it work without the Vendor plans add-on?

Section titled “Does it work without the Vendor plans add-on?”

Yes. The “Vendors without a plan” row then applies to all vendors.

No. It is for Multi-Vendor only.

Does it reduce the size of existing images?

Section titled “Does it reduce the size of existing images?”

No. It limits uploads. To compress images, use an image optimizer. Our Image Optimizer add-on does this.

We cannot promise that. The add-on shows vendors what the next plan gives at the moment they need it, and shows you who reached a limit. What they do next depends on your plans and prices.
