Connects CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor to Royal Mail Click & Drop: checkout rates from an editable table, orders sent to Click & Drop, labels, tracking numbers read back into CS-Cart shipments, bulk actions, cancellation and vendor accounts.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Checkout rates from a table you maintain. Click & Drop has no live rate quote, so each Royal Mail service (Tracked 24, Tracked 48, Special Delivery, International Tracked, International Tracked & Signed) is priced from weight bands per zone (UK, EU, rest of the world) that you edit on the Rates tab. The prices are yours, not Royal Mail’s.
- Orders to Click & Drop. One click on the order page, a status of your choice, or a bulk action sends the order (recipient, parcel weight, items, totals, service code and, for international orders, the customs data) through the Click & Drop API.
- Labels. OBA accounts receive the PDF label (with CN22/CN23 for international orders) with the order and can download one combined PDF for many orders. Pay-as-you-go accounts print the label in Click & Drop; the order tab says so.
- Tracking back into CS-Cart. The tracking number is read back from Click & Drop and stored as a regular CS-Cart shipment, so the customer’s order page and notifications show it, with a link to the Royal Mail tracking page.
- Cancel a Click & Drop order from the order tab.
- Your API key is stored encrypted; a job queue retries failures (5 minutes up to 12 hours); a log with filters and CSV export.
- Multi-Vendor: one marketplace account or one account (and one rate table) per vendor.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- No live rate quotes from Royal Mail (the API has none) and no delivery events (the API reports label, manifest and despatch dates only; delivery is on the Royal Mail tracking page).
- No manifest creation, returns or Royal Mail Online Postage (OLP) accounts in 1.0.
