Blog Pro turns the built-in CS-Cart blog into a content marketing blog. Your posts stay ordinary core blog pages: nothing is migrated, nothing is copied, and the core editor, comments and tags keep working. Blog Pro adds what the core blog lacks: categories with their own pages and SEO URLs, author profiles, products inside and under posts, related posts, reading time, a table of contents, scheduled publishing, RSS feeds, sidebar blocks and Article structured data.
- Categories with their own pages: an archive page per category with its description, page title and meta tags, an SEO URL (for example
/buying-guides/) and an RSS feed. A post can belong to several categories; the main one appears in the breadcrumbs. - Tag pages: the tags of the core Tags add-on get a blog archive page with an SEO URL. Tag pages are kept out of search results by default.
- Author profiles: display name, job title, bio, photo and profile links, an author box under each post, an author page with all posts of the author, and a byline with photo, date, reading time and comment count.
- Shop the post: pick products for a post; they appear as a product grid under the text with prices and add to cart. Type
[product id=12]in the text to show a product card inside the article. - Related posts: choose them yourself, and Blog Pro fills the rest with posts that share categories or tags.
- Reading time and table of contents: “4 min read” in lists and on the post; a table of contents built from the H2/H3 headings of long posts, with anchor links.
- Scheduled publishing: a date and time from which a post is visible. Scheduled posts stay hidden in lists, feeds, blocks and on their own URL until then.
- Blog list layouts: list with image, or a grid with two or three columns, with categories, a featured label, excerpt and byline on every card.
- Blocks: recent, popular, featured, category, related, “posts featuring this product” and “more from this author” post lists, a category list with post counts and a tag cloud, for any page in Design → Layouts.
- Structured data: BlogPosting, Article or NewsArticle markup with the author as a person, publisher, images, dates, section, keywords and word count, plus BreadcrumbList and an author profile page. With SEO Pro Suite installed, Blog Pro enriches its article markup instead of adding a second one.
- Multi-Vendor: vendors write posts for their storefront in the vendor panel, with their own products and team members as authors; optional approval of vendor posts by the administrator.
- Full page cache ready: every page depends on its URL only; the popular posts counter uses a small script, never the page itself.

- Requires the core Blog add-on. Works with the core SEO, Tags, Comments and reviews (discussion) and RSS feed add-ons when they are active, and with SEO Pro Suite.
