Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3.
- For images given as URLs: outgoing HTTP(S) requests from the server (the same as for the core product import).
Install
Section titled “Install”- Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and choose the add-on archive.
- The add-on is installed and active. Administration → Export data and Import data now have a Categories section with two tabs: Categories and Product categories.
- Enter your license key on the add-on’s License tab.
- Optional: open the add-on Settings to choose the default match mode and the SEO redirect behaviour (see Configuration).
Privileges
Section titled “Privileges”The patterns use the core catalog privileges: View catalog to export and Manage catalog to import. Administrators without them do not see the section. On Multi-Vendor the section is hidden from vendors, because categories belong to the marketplace.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new archive in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or use the Upgrade Center when it offers the update). The add-on brings its settings, layouts and texts up to date by itself.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Category Import & Export → Uninstall removes the settings, the texts and the saved layouts of the two patterns. Your categories, product links and the files in the export directory are not changed. Disabling the add-on hides the section and keeps the layouts.
