Usage

  1. When an order reaches the chosen status its invoice is created, numbered and queued. The order list shows the state in the E-invoice column.
  2. Open the order and the RO e-Factura tab. States: Queued, Uploaded, ANAF is processing, Accepted by ANAF, Rejected by ANAF, Error (a local problem such as a failed check), Waiting for connection or seller data.
  3. When ANAF accepts the invoice, download Signed ANAF answer (ZIP) (the invoice and the electronic signature of the Ministry of Finance), the XML, or a PDF rendered by ANAF’s service.
  4. A rejected invoice shows ANAF’s messages. Fix the cause (usually buyer data or the tax setup), then use Send again: the invoice is rebuilt from the order with the same number. Send again is offered only when ANAF cannot hold the document (never uploaded, or refused). If an upload got no answer (timeout, server error), the document shows Upload sent, result not confirmed yet: the add-on asks ANAF (listaMesajeFactura and the downloaded answer) whether the invoice was registered and only uploads it again when it is not there after 20 minutes. A tax document registered at ANAF cannot be withdrawn, so a second upload is never made blindly. If the check itself keeps failing, the document stops with Error; look for the invoice in SPV and confirm on the tab that it is not there before sending again.
  5. The tab shows the date by which the invoice should be uploaded (5 calendar days after the issue date, OUG 115/2023 as published by ANAF at static.anaf.ro/static/10/Anaf/legislatie/OUG_115_2023.pdf; the law also ties the term to the statutory issue deadline, so confirm the date for your case with your accountant).
  1. Set the connection to Test, authorise and run Test connection.
  2. Open a test order with a buyer company (customer field Company tax ID), then Create e-invoice on the order tab.
  3. Run the cron command once (or wait for cron). The status becomes Uploaded, then Accepted by ANAF or Rejected by ANAF a few minutes later.
  4. Download the XML and the ZIP and compare them with what your accountant expects.

On an accepted invoice open Issue a credit note, enter the quantity that stays invoiced for each line (or tick Credit everything) and a reason. The form shows what is still open: earlier credit notes (except those ANAF rejected) are subtracted, so credit notes together never exceed the invoice, and one click creates one credit note (a repeated or double-clicked request returns the first). The credit note is a UBL CreditNote that refers to the invoice; it has its own number and goes through the same upload and result steps. Only an invoice that ANAF has accepted can be credited. The same credit note can be created automatically when an order reaches a status you choose.

  • Jobs: counts per state, the list with the last error, Retry, Remove and Run the queue now.
  • Log: filter and export what happened and when.
  • Connection: application credentials, seller data, authorisation, Test connection.
  • The add-on does not issue invoices for orders outside the rules you set (foreign buyers, individuals when skipped) and does not handle e-Transport, SAF-T (D406) or receiving supplier invoices.
  • The messages ANAF keeps are limited in time: download and keep the ZIP files (the add-on stores them with the order).
