1. Install the add-on

1. Administration > Add-ons > Manage add-ons > the upload icon > choose the package kv_postnord-1.0.0.zip > Upload and install.
2. Open the add-on (Settings) and enter your license key in the License section.
3. Upgrading later: upload the new package over the installed one. The add-on updates its tables and settings by itself; your connection, bookings and labels stay.

2. Get your PostNord API keys and customer number

The add-on uses your own PostNord account; it contains no PostNord account.

1. Sandbox: sign up at atdeveloper.postnord.com (the PostNord sandbox developer portal). The test API key is shown in your account there. Sandbox calls go to atapi2.postnord.com and use test data.
2. Production: sign up at developer.postnord.com for the Customer plan and create an application. The production API key is shown with the application. Production calls go to api2.postnord.com.
3. Customer number: the PostNord customer number of your agreement (8 digit SAP number or 10 digit production number), in your PostNord agreement or customer portal. The agreement country decides the issuer code: Denmark Z11, Sweden Z12, Norway Z13, Finland Z14.
4. PostNord says the Booking API has “several pre-conditions”: if a test booking is refused for your customer number, contact the integration team of your PostNord country (Denmark [email protected], Finland [email protected], Norway [email protected], Sweden [email protected]).

3. Connect

1. Orders > PostNord shipments > Connection.
2. Choose the agreement country and the environment Sandbox.
3. Paste the sandbox API key and the customer number; fill the sender (name, street, postal code, city; phone and e-mail recommended). Optional: the return address, if returns go elsewhere.
4. Press Save and test. The test checks the key (PostNord answers 403 for a wrong key) and asks PostNord whether the customer number exists for your country.
5. When your test labels look right, enter the production key (and production customer number if it differs), switch to Production and test again.

4. Cron

The job queue (automatic bookings, lookups, tracking) runs by cron. Settings > Cron shows a command line (php admin.php --dispatch=kv_postnord.cron) and a secret web address; run either every 5 minutes.

5. Shipping methods

Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods > add a method with the carrier “PostNord” and one of the services, then fill the Configure tab. See Configuration.

Uninstall

Uninstalling removes the add-on’s tables (connections, bookings, labels, logs) and its shipping methods. Download labels you still need first. CS-Cart shipments created with the item number stay.
