B2B Net Terms & Credit Limits
Add-on ID: kv_net_terms_credit_limit · Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
B2B Net Terms & Credit Limits lets approved business customers buy now and pay later on their trade account. It adds a Net terms (pay by invoice) payment method that only customers with an active credit account see, checks each order against the customer’s credit limit, gives every order an invoice with a due date and a secure online payment link, reminds customers before and after the due date and gives you statements, partial payments and an aging report.

- Net terms payment method: a normal CS-Cart offline payment method (created at installation) with a PO number field. It is shown only to signed-in customers with an active credit account and a credit limit; everyone else never sees it.
- Credit limits and terms per customer or per usergroup: a credit limit, payment terms (Net 0–365 days from the invoice date, or after the end of the month: “Net 30 EOM”) and an over-limit rule per account. Usergroup terms give whole groups net terms without creating accounts one by one.
- Available credit = limit − open balance: every new order is checked before it is placed. An order over the available credit is blocked, or placed for a credit review that you approve or reject on the order page.
- Order statuses: the add-on creates Awaiting payment (net terms) (stock stays reserved, not counted as paid, not counted for vendor payouts) and Credit review. When the invoice is paid the order moves to Processed (configurable).
- Invoices and due dates: due dates, PO numbers and payment terms are printed on the CS-Cart invoice document and shown on the order page, in the customer account and in e-mails.
- Pay online with a secure link: customers pay an invoice with any of your online payment methods on a payment page that charges the open balance of the same order (no second order, no double revenue). The link works without signing in.
- Partial payments: record bank transfers or cheques with a reference and date, per invoice or for the whole account (applied to the oldest due invoices first). The balance updates at once.
- Reminders and overdue handling: a reminder N days before the due date, overdue reminders every N days, a store notice for new overdue invoices and, optionally, an automatic hold of accounts with long-overdue invoices (released automatically when paid).
- Statements and aging: account statements for any period (print / save as PDF, CSV) for you and your customers, and an aging report (current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days) with CSV export.
- Applications: customers apply for net terms with company details, tax ID, references and a requested limit; you approve with a limit and terms, or decline with a reason.
- Multi-Vendor: the marketplace grants the credit. Each vendor sub-order gets its own invoice and becomes payable to the vendor (counts for payouts) once it is paid. Vendors see a read-only invoice panel on their orders.
- Full page cache ready: nothing is printed on cacheable pages; checkout, account pages and the payment page are never cached.
