Dock is a storefront theme for electronics, computing and other large catalogues on CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. The store works like a desktop app your customers already know: a dark sidebar with the departments and live product counts instead of a header, a search palette that answers while they type, tabbed windows full of product rows with specs, stock and prices, and a cart that stays open on the right. Fewer clicks from “I need a 2 TB SSD” to checkout.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”- The Dock theme, a child of the standard Responsive theme, so every add-on keeps working.
- Four styles:
- Graphite (default): dark sidebar on a cool grey canvas, electric blue accent.
- Daylight: an all-light store with a warm canvas and a burnt-orange accent.
- Midnight: all dark (sidebar, canvas, checkout), cyan accent with dark text on buttons; made for gaming stores.
- Mint: deep green sidebar, a fresh light canvas and a green accent for general stores.
- App sidebar on every page (wide screens): logo, “Search products Ctrl K”, Home, Deals with the number of products on sale, Compare and Orders, your lists, the departments with their product counts, a promo card and the account row. From 1024 to 1279 px it becomes an icon rail that expands on click or keyboard focus; on tablets and phones an app bar with search, a departments drawer and a bottom tab bar (Home, Browse, Deals, Compare, Cart).
- Search palette as the first screen of the homepage: a large search box with live suggestions in three columns (phrases, departments with counts, top matches with price and stock), keyboard navigation and Ctrl K or “/” from any page. It uses the Instant Live Search add-on when you have it, otherwise the theme’s own suggestions.
- Tabbed windows on the homepage: Deals of the day, Bestsellers and New in as product rows (thumbnail, name, spec chips, rating, stock, old and new price, a square “+” to add to the cart) with the time left on the deal in the tab strip; trending tiles per department; Recently viewed (kept in the shopper’s browser); Ending soon with countdowns; Shop by budget; a department launcher; buying guides; a newsletter window and an about window.
- Docked cart from 1440 px: the cart stays open on the right with the free-delivery progress, the lines and a “Works with your cart” row (bestsellers while the cart is empty); on smaller screens the cart button opens the same panel as a drawer.
- Status bar along the bottom of the page on wide screens (delivery, returns, keyboard hints) and a compare tray while the shopper compares products.
- Category pages as windows: a header window with the item count and subcategory chips, a filter window that stays in view, a Rows | Tiles switch, product rows with spec chips and stock, and a filter sheet on phones.
- Product page in two panes: gallery on a grey well, a mono code line, the price with the saving, the deal countdown, colour and storage buttons for product variations, option cards (protection plans), quantity, Add to cart, a facts list (“In stock · order within 3 h 12 min for delivery tomorrow”, returns and warranty), a key-spec strip, specifications grouped in a table, “Works with it” rows and a sticky buy bar.
- Multi-Vendor: the seller line in product rows and “Sold by” on product pages.
- Cart, checkout and account pages in the classic frame with a slim app bar in the theme colours.
- Installs with complete demo content: the store looks finished right after activation.
- Self-hosted fonts (Geist and Geist Mono, SIL Open Font License): no external font requests.
Dock never shows invented numbers: counts, ratings, stock and countdowns come from your store’s data and are hidden when the data is missing.
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on 4.17.2 and 4.21.2).
- PHP 7.2.5 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
- Works with the full page cache of 4.21.
Licence
Section titled “Licence”Dock uses a domain-bound licence like every Kavio Labs product. Without a valid licence (after the 14-day period of a new installation, or 14 days after the licence server became unreachable) the storefront shows the standard Responsive look instead of the Dock design; cart, checkout and orders keep working and visitors see no message.
