Usage

  1. The customer enters the shipping address. Pickup methods are offered for addresses in their countries.
  2. After choosing a pickup method, a card under the method shows “No pickup point chosen yet” and a Choose pickup point button.
  3. For InPost, Mondial Relay, DHL and Omniva the button opens the map and list dialog:
    • The first search uses the postcode and town of the shipping address.
    • Type a postcode or a town and press Search, or press Near me to use the device location.
    • All / Lockers / Shops & post offices filter the list.
    • Each point shows its number on the map, name, address, distance, type and opening hours. Clicking a pin highlights the point in the list.
    • Select saves the point and closes the dialog.
  4. For Packeta and GLS the button opens the carrier’s own widget. Choosing a point there saves it.
  5. The card now shows the point. Change opens the dialog again.
  6. Placing the order without a point is stopped with “Please choose a pickup point for the selected delivery method.”

On phones the dialog fills the screen and has List and Map tabs.

  • Admin order page: a “Pickup point” panel in the right column with the network, name and ID, address, type, opening hours and a map link. Change pickup point searches the network again or takes values you type (for example after a call with the customer).
  • Customer order page: the point under the shipping method.
  • Invoice and order e-mails: “Pickup point: name (ID), address” after the shipping method name.
  • REST API: GET /api/orders/<id> returns kv_epp_points (all points of the order) and kv_epp_point inside each shipping entry.
  • Multi-Vendor: each vendor order keeps the point chosen for that vendor’s shipment; vendors see and can change it on their order page.

Create the shipment in your carrier’s portal or label tool with the point ID shown on the order (Packeta point ID, Mondial Relay point number, InPost locker name, DHL location ID, GLS ParcelShop ID, Omniva parcel machine code).
