Size Guide & Fit Finder shows the right size chart on every clothing and footwear product. A “Size guide” link appears next to the size selector on the product page and in quick view. It opens a clean, accessible window with the size table (cm or inches), a measuring guide and Find my size: shoppers enter their measurements, or a size they wear in another chart, and get a recommended size with a clear confidence level. Buyers can tell you after delivery whether an item runs small, true to size or large, and the product page shows the result as a fit hint.
Wrong sizes are the most common reason for returns in fashion. CS-Cart has no size charts: stores paste images into descriptions, which shoppers miss, cannot read on a phone and cannot search. This add-on keeps one chart per garment type and puts it exactly where the shopper chooses a size.
- Chart builder: sizes as rows, measurements as columns (chest, bust, waist, hips, height, weight, inseam, neck, sleeve, foot length, head and any custom column such as EU, US or UK sizes). Ranges or single values, size aliases, a how-to-measure text and an optional illustration.
- Seven templates: women’s and men’s tops, women’s and men’s bottoms, dresses, shoes and kids’ clothing, ready to adjust.
- Assignment rules: by category (with subcategories), brand and vendor, plus products assigned directly. Priorities decide when several charts match; a “which chart does this product use?” tool explains the result.
- Next to the size selector: works with product options and with variation features (size as a variation), on the product page and in quick view. If no size selector is found, the link sits below the options.
- Accessible window: keyboard and screen-reader friendly dialog (focus trap, Esc, labelled tabs), full-screen on phones, cm/in and kg/lb switch.
- Find my size: rule-based recommendation from body measurements or from a size in a reference chart; “between sizes” advice, confidence badge, recommended row highlighted, the size highlighted in the selector and a “Select size” button.
- Private by design: measurements are stored only in the shopper’s browser (optional) and are never sent to the store.
- Fit feedback: “Runs small / True to size / Runs large” on the customer’s order page; moderation; totals per product (shared by all variations of a product); “Runs small” hints on the product page that also adjust the recommendation.
- CSV import and export of chart tables; paste a table from a spreadsheet.
- Size guide product tab with the table (optional).
- Multi-Vendor: vendors can manage charts for their own products (optional).
- Full page cache ready (4.21): the product page output is the same for every visitor.
