Installation and setup
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
- Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
- A PAC account with API access and your CSD certificates loaded in it:
- Facturama: the portal user and password of your account (API Web uses HTTP Basic with the same credentials). A free sandbox account is available at apisandbox.facturama.mx; production is api.facturama.mx.
- Facturapi: the secret key of your organization (test key
sk_test_...for the sandbox, live keysk_live_...for production).
- The PHP extensions
dom, libxml, curlandopenssl(standard in CS-Cart installations). - A cron job on your server (see step 7).
Install the add-on
Section titled “Install the add-on”- Download the
kv_cfdi_mexico-<version>.zippackage from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account. - In the admin panel, open Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
- Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
- Find Mexico CFDI 4.0 e-Invoicing in the list and make sure its status is Active.
- Enter your license key under Settings > License (Kavio Labs downloads) and click Check now.
Connect your PAC
Section titled “Connect your PAC”- Open Orders > CFDI 4.0 and the Connection tab.
- Choose the PAC and Test mode, enter the test credentials (Facturama: user and password; Facturapi: the secret key in the password field, the first field may stay empty). Save and click Test connection: a green message means the credentials work.
- Enter the issuer data exactly as in your PAC account: RFC, legal name, tax regime and the expedition postal code (LugarExpedicion).
- Issue a test CFDI from an order (see Usage). The Facturama sandbox only stamps for its own test issuer (RFC EKU9003173C9); use the issuer data of the sandbox while you test.
- Switch to Live mode and enter the live credentials only after a successful test; test again.
- Set the SAT keys of your products or categories and the defaults in the settings (see Configuration).
- Add the cron job from the settings page (Cron section), every minute is fine. Overlapping runs are prevented.
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”By default the marketplace owner connects one PAC account for all vendors (Marketplace owner mode on). Switch it off to let each vendor connect their own PAC account and issuer data in the vendor panel (Connection tab).
Update
Section titled “Update”- Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, credentials and data are kept.
- The add-on adds missing tables, settings and the fiscal profile fields by itself on the first request after the update.
See CHANGELOG for what changed in each version.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. This removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, database tables (including the stored credentials, documents and SAT keys) and the five fiscal profile fields with the values saved in them. Export or download the XML files you need first: they are your fiscal records.
Facturama and Facturapi are trademarks of their respective owners. SAT (Servicio de Administracion Tributaria) is the Mexican tax authority. This add-on is an independent product by Kavio Labs: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAT, Facturama or Facturapi, and it is not a PAC (authorised stamping provider): the CFDI is stamped by the PAC account that you choose and pay for.
