Configuration
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The add-on has one setting: Enable. Everything else is on the add-on page.
Add the command shown on the page to cron, for example once a day:
php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_security_health_check.cronOver HTTP, call admin.php?dispatch=kv_security_health_check.cron&cron_password=YOUR_PASSWORD, with the cron password from Settings > Security. A run takes up to about a minute on a large store. If the file scan does not finish in that time, the next run goes on from where it stopped, and the page keeps the result of the last finished scan.
The notice in the admin panel
Section titled “The notice in the admin panel”When the last run found problems or changed files, administrators who may open the page see a notice once per session, with a link to the report. Nothing is sent by e-mail.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”The page uses the Manage settings privilege. Vendors have no access and get no notice.
