Catalog Quality Audit checks every product in your catalog against a set of rules and shows what is missing or wrong: no images or too few, small images, missing alt texts, empty or short descriptions, missing SEO names and meta, duplicate names, codes and descriptions, a zero price, a list price below the price, a missing weight, brand or required feature, a missing GTIN and more. Every product gets a score from 0 to 100, the catalog gets an overall score, and the dashboard shows where the problems are and how the score changes over time. CS-Cart has no such check built in.

• 23 rules with severities: each rule is Critical, Warning, Notice or Off, with limits where they make sense (minimum description length, minimum number of images, minimum image size, maximum name length, required features, GTIN source).
• Score: 100 minus 20 points per critical, 8 per warning and 3 per notice issue. The catalog, category, vendor and storefront scores are the averages.
• Batched scans: Scan now checks the catalog in batches with a progress bar; a cron job runs a full scan daily or weekly. Every saved product is re-checked at once, stock changes from orders are re-checked by the cron.
• Dashboard: catalog score, products with issues, open issues by severity, issues by rule, the categories that need attention, vendors or storefronts by score and the score trend.
• Issue list: filters by rule, severity, category, vendor and state, search by name or code, a link to the product page, ignore and restore single issues or many at once.
• Safe bulk fixes: fill empty meta titles and meta descriptions from templates, generate missing SEO names, fill missing image alt texts with the product name. Only empty fields are written, through the standard product save.
• CSV export of the filtered issue list.
• Weekly e-mail digest with the score, the change since last week and the most common issues (optional).
• Multi-Vendor: vendors see the score and the issues of their own products and can use the bulk fixes on them. Optionally, vendor products need a minimum score before they can be set to Active.
• No storefront output: nothing changes for your customers, and the add-on is safe with full page cache.
