In CS-Cart Multi-Vendor, promotions belong to the marketplace: vendors have no access to them, so a vendor cannot run a coupon campaign for its own shop. Vendor Coupons & Promotions gives every vendor its own coupon codes, limited to its own products, inside rules that you set. Each coupon is calculated by the core promotion engine, so cart totals, taxes, order data and the per-vendor order split stay exactly as CS-Cart does them.
- Coupons in the vendor panel: percent off or a fixed amount off the vendor’s items, free shipping of the vendor’s own shipment, minimum order of the vendor’s items, start and end dates, total uses, uses per customer and “first order only”.
- Only the vendor’s items: in a cart with products from several vendors, the coupon discounts only the products of the vendor who made it. Coupons of different vendors work side by side; one coupon per vendor and order.
- Your rules: which vendors (or vendor plans) may create coupons, a maximum discount in percent, a maximum number of coupons per vendor, free shipping on or off, and optional approval of every new or changed coupon.
- Who pays the discount: the vendor (default: commission is charged on the price before the coupon), shared (the standard CS-Cart behaviour) or the marketplace (the vendor earns as if there were no coupon). The adjustment goes into the core vendor accounting, so balances and payouts stay correct.
- Combining with your promotions: marketplace promotions run first; choose whether vendor coupons may stack with marketplace cart discounts. A marketplace promotion with “Stop other rules” always wins.
- Usage reports: orders, sales, discount, shipping saved and commission adjustment per coupon, for each vendor and for the whole marketplace.
- Clear messages for customers: “valid for products of [vendor] only”, “needs at least $30 of [vendor]’s products”, “only valid for your first order”, and so on.

Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 with PHP 8.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3). CS-Cart (Standard/Ultimate) refuses the installation by the edition check.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
- Works with the bundled Vendor plans and Vendor plans: commissions by category add-ons and with our Advanced Commission Rules and Vendor Payouts Automation add-ons (see Configuration).
- No storefront template changes: customers use the standard coupon field of the cart and checkout. The 4.21 full page cache is not affected.
