FAQ
Which countries does it cover?
Section titled “Which countries does it cover?”Packeta destinations Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania: pick-up points, Z-BOXes and home delivery, with the carrier ids of the official carrier list. Pick-up points of Packeta’s partner carriers can be offered with the carrier ids you configure. Customs declarations (outside the EU) are not covered in 1.0.0.
Do I get the real Packeta price at checkout?
Section titled “Do I get the real Packeta price at checkout?”No. Packeta has no price list for an e-shop’s customers: your prices come from your contract. You enter the price you charge on each shipping method (with an optional free-shipping threshold).
Is there a sandbox?
Section titled “Is there a sandbox?”Packeta has none. You test with your production account; nothing is charged until a packet physically enters the Packeta network, and Packeta suggests a dedicated testing sender. Cancel test packets before you hand them over.
Does it work with EU Pickup Points & Parcel Lockers?
Section titled “Does it work with EU Pickup Points & Parcel Lockers?”Yes. If an order was placed with the Packeta method of that add-on, its stored point is used for the packet. Without it, this add-on shows its own pick-up point picker.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Section titled “Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?”Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one Packeta account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
Section titled “Which CS-Cart versions are supported?”4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Where are my credentials stored?
Section titled “Where are my credentials stored?”In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store’s secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving. The API key is public by design (the checkout widget uses it in the browser).
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
Section titled “Does it send data to Kavio Labs?”No. The add-on talks to Packeta only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
What happens when Packeta is down?
Section titled “What happens when Packeta is down?”Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and no packet is created twice.
What happens when the license expires?
Section titled “What happens when the license expires?”New work stops (no new packets, rates or labels). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Section titled “How do I get updates?”Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
How do I get support?
Section titled “How do I get support?”Contact us through https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com.
My license shows “Pending verification”
Section titled “My license shows “Pending verification””This status appears in older add-on versions when you use a CS-Cart Marketplace license number that our license server has not matched with the Marketplace yet. The add-on is fully working in this state: no feature is switched off and you do not need to do anything. Newer versions show it as Active (Marketplace license). We confirm Marketplace numbers on our side; click Check now on the add-on’s License tab (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → the add-on) a little later and it shows Active. If it has not changed after 24 hours, contact support with your Marketplace order number.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Work through the troubleshooting guide, then contact support with your CS-Cart version, edition, PHP version and the add-on version (1.0.0).
