Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3).
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3. No extra PHP extensions.
- A cron job for the automatic full scans and the weekly digest (any hosting control panel can add one). Without cron, you scan with Scan now; saved products are re-checked at once in any case.
Install
Section titled “Install”- In the admin panel, go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear icon and choose Manual installation.
- Upload the add-on archive and click Upload & install.
- Enter your license key in the add-on’s License tab (see License).
- Add the cron job shown in the add-on settings (below).
- Open Products → Catalog quality and click Scan now (see Usage).
The cron job
Section titled “The cron job”The add-on settings show the exact command with your cron key. Run it every hour:
0 * * * * php /home/yourstore/public_html/admin.php --dispatch=kv_catalog_quality_audit.cron --key=YOUR_KEYIf your hosting panel can only call URLs, use the cron URL from the settings instead:
https://yourstore.com/index.php?dispatch=kv_catalog_quality_audit.cron&key=YOUR_KEYA call starts a full scan when the last one is older than the interval you chose (daily or weekly), works for up to 5 minutes (the URL: 50 seconds) and continues a large scan on the next call. It also re-checks the products whose stock changed and sends the weekly digest on the chosen day.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new version over the old one (Manual installation again, or the Upgrade Center). Results, ignored issues, the history and your rules are kept. Database changes of new versions are applied automatically on the next admin page view.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Catalog Quality Audit → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (results, issues, ignored issues, scans, history, queue, rules), its settings, language variables and the digest e-mail template. Your products are not changed by uninstalling; values written by bulk fixes stay in the products.
