Installation

Requirements

• CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3).
• PHP 7.4 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
• Working outgoing e-mail in Settings → E-mails (SMTP is recommended for deliverability).
• A cron job on the server is recommended. Without one, reminders can also be sent while someone works in the admin panel (see Configuration).

Install

1. In the admin panel, go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
2. Click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and choose the kv_abandoned_cart_recovery-<version>.zip file.
3. After the upload, Abandoned Cart Recovery Pro appears in the list and is installed and active.
4. Open the add-on settings and review the reminder sequence, consent mode and sending options (Configuration).
5. Set up the cron job (Settings → Sending & cron shows the exact command and URL for your store).
6. On the License tab of the settings, enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).

The installation creates four tables (?:kv_acr_carts, ?:kv_acr_items, ?:kv_acr_messages, ?:kv_acr_contacts), three e-mail templates (Design → E-mail templates: Abandoned cart: reminder 1/2/3) and a random cron key and link secret.

Carts are captured from the moment the add-on is active. Carts that existed before installation are not imported.

Cron job

Recommended (console command, every 10 minutes):

The real command and URL (with your path and key) are shown in Add-ons → Abandoned Cart Recovery Pro → Settings → Sending & cron. Both print a short JSON summary of the run.

Upgrade

Upload the new version over the installed one (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → +). Your settings, captured carts and statistics are kept. The add-on applies any database changes itself on the next admin page load.

Upgrading to 1.1.0: this version adds the license check. After the upgrade the add-on keeps working for 14 days; enter your license key on the License tab of the settings within that time.

Uninstall

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Abandoned Cart Recovery Pro → Uninstall. This:

• withdraws every still-valid reminder coupon from its promotion (the promotions themselves are kept),
• deletes the add-on tables, settings, language variables and e-mail templates,
• removes the add-on’s run information from the storage.

Disabling the add-on (instead of uninstalling) keeps all data; nothing is captured or sent while it is disabled.
